Trundle has some positive matchups. You're more likely to go even in lane than to win it which is fine if you know how to use TP.

Catalyst rush into ROA seems to be the best opening.

Early MR isn't as necessary as I thought. I skip Athene's, and go for my tank items soon as my ROA and sorc shoes are finished.

Current item build: Doran's Ring or Shield, Catalyst into ROA, finish shoes, Spirit Visage & Randuin's in some order for 2nd & 3rd items.

I was thinking of Zhonya's for 4th, if the game goes that long. I honestly don't know what to buy late game.

Rabadon's/Void Staff? Or Abyssal and Void/Rabadon's? Or you could probably fit a Lich Bane in there for split/turret-pushing.

I don't build anywhere near enough AP to warrant a Rabadon's. Building that much AP is prohibitive due to his sad sad ratios.

Gragas's base damage on his spells is too shitty for a void staff.

Abyssal might be useful if our team has double AP composition, but it seems situational at best.

Split pushing with Gragas? ahahhhahahha

I am in love with Renekton. Hydra, into tank, still do AMAZING damage and disrupt the enemy team like nothing else. Double gap-closer, stun, health, aoes. He's just straight up OP and I love him so.

Just need to get a little bit better with his power spikes. Vs tryndamere they almost always just crit me out then dive me under turret after six.

Build is usually Dorans Shield + pot -> Tiamat or Vamp depending on lane -> Boots 1 -> Warden's Armour thing or rush to hydra. End build plan is roughly Hydra, Spirit Visage, Randuin's, Guardian Angel, Warmogs or most needed resistance, Merc Treads.

I spend most teamfights diving for a carry, or just trying to initiate and soak CC for the team, basic divey tank play.

Advice solicited and appreciated.

Hahah thanks man! I always struggle vs Trynd cause level 1 crits suck. Just...just the worst. It's to the point I'd almost consider going cloth+5 vs him in the future. The good news was that he built straight damage and didn't have TP. Once we could shut down his splitpushing he was useless.


Also we had a Kat that got mad triples and quadras, then just left. I think it was the most elaborate of smurf trolls.

Lil slugger trundle is one of my favorite skins in the whole game. The trophy pillar is funny and he looks like Benny the jet from sandlot which is basically the best.
