That wasn't the part I was objecting to. I was objecting to using Mom's ISO as the reason and not mine.

Taking a roundabout way to go about defending me makes it a lot harder to fight against or object to while still getting towncred when I flip town.

She has no defined stances except for a townread on me (and I didn't have a wagon on me, so pretty much complete freedom to vote whatever wagon she wants), and there is less than a day until deadline, meaning expectation is that people will compromise. Instead of voting a you wagon or a garmr wagon (thus killing someone suspicious of her AND getting 1 of two required mislynches), she voted SC who had no votes on him and wasn't voting her. Lack of fear because I was protecting her doesn't explain that, especially since I hadn't really vocally come out in her defense at that point.

I don't think that's as big of a towntell as you say it is. StrangerCoug makes the most sense as a target if you think about it as disinterested scum who thinks they're probably screwed but wants the path of least resistance if they manage to survive that day phase.
