I've noticed a recent batch of micro-games not filling. Is this indicative of mafiascum's overall health?

Edit: Upon reading this post I think it might sound sarcastic. I'm not being sarcastic, I think it's weird the number of micro's not filling.

What kind of micro games weren't filling? Was there a long run of very similar games? Sometimes that queue is greatxxx idea as far as the eye can see.

I looked back, and there isn't a historical basis for time-of-year being an issue. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I've suspended the signups time limit for now, since games don't seem to be filling fast enough for it to serve any purpose.

The problem could be that there aren't enough players/demand for games any more.

It would make sense that the reduction of demand would be most visible in the micro queue among the queues.

I blame the amount of /ego posts that happen whenever a new sticky thread appears. They just put it in the ego and then never join the games.

Could the day phases be shortened to no more than 10 days? After 7 - 10 days I get bored. 21 days is too long.

My last game used 10 day games and it worked pretty well.

When the game gets down to 5 or 6 players, 21 days is way too long.

Micro games are filling at a slower rate than usual, but it is not a surprise to see 20p+ bastard games fill at a slow rate.

I know that I stopped signing up for more than two games at a time because Uni started back up. I wouldn't be surprised to see this across the board.
