Greetings, players.

Introductions and few ground rules are in order before we do anything.

I am planning on running D&D using a game engine called VASSAL. It's a fairly popular way to play boardgames/cardgames through the internet. It's open-source, free, and works on different platforms. To join my game, you will have to install VASSAL and have my module.

I have modified an D20 existing module to meet my needs, and I will make it available somehow in upcoming future.

I also have few questions on your previous experience, and any expectations on the game, if you don't mind sharing.

I do not have any prior experience with pen and paper games.
Do you allow Homebrew classes? I'll most likely be bard, but there's a support class I am interested in trying called Balloon Mage.

I also do have a list of materials that are toxic to the game and should be avoided.

For beginners, I think it's a good idea to limit yourself to the Player's Handbook. (PHB)

Please do not use dice rolls to generate stats. Instead, use the point-buy system. Use the D&D calculator (the bottom one), and you are allowed to allocate up to 25 points.

Yes, I understand how it works. I am also worried about my strength. However, decreasing my charisma or my intelligence will require a revamp of my character, and I plan on not fighting.

I think your flat-footed AC should be 11 for (+1 size), and your grapple should be -7 (+0 BAB, -4 size, -3 STR).

In case it ever comes up, your
Dagger melee attack roll is -3 (+0 BAB, -3 STR) with 1d4-3 damage. (-3 STR)
Dagger range attack roll is +1 (+0 BAB, +1 DEX) with 1d4-3 damage (-3 STR) This is when you throw your dagger. It only has 10 ft range though. (which is 2 squares)

Singing vs playing an instrument is your choice. It's true that singing usually is a superior option, since you don't have to carry an instrument around. (it actually takes a move action to take out your instrument from your bag) However, there might be niche situations where you might be gagged but still be able to play a guitar. It's up to you.

also, i cant get a master voicebox, so thats like, the only other downside to singing. then again, i might be gagged, and able to play, but i might be bound, and able to sing.

Concept/Backstory.
Domino lived a happy life in a whore house Living as the bastard son of some noble man. An army from a distance invaded killing his mum and most of the whores that raised him. They took him to the city to be sold as slave. He narowly managed to escape as the whores offered their bodies to the guards to create a oppertunity to escape. Alone and on the streets he had to steal food and. He eventually caught the attention of the thieves guild. Who took him in as one of their own seeing his potential and taught him the skills he needed to get by. Around the age of 20 he stole a wizards book after two years of studying it he was finally able to cast a single spell(nothing useful just makes a spark that doesn’t hurt). Through magic wasn’t the only thing he found. He found out about the existance of a amulet of youth. Through not knowing wether to believe the book or not he set out to find it.

Personality:
He is selfish but a charmer. If he feels a heist is safe he will do it in a showy manner. Through when serious he will try to be discrete as possible. His soft spot for the ladies gets him into trouble occasionally. He avoids killing since it’s messy. He doesn’t mind slitting a throat or two if he has to Through.

Looks
