Care to expand at all on why Lyserg is town, I'm your scum read, and everyone else is neutral?

I think Lyserg is actively scumhunting. You on the other hand seem to jump to whatever popular bandwagon is going. First with orcinus_theoriginal, next with Aristophanes. The reasoning behind your votes amounts to "seems scummy" with no further elaboration. It just seems like someone who wants a fast lynch to me.

I'll admit it, I'm kind of a low-content poster compared to a lot of you guys. You can check the other games I'm in and hopefully you'll see my lack of posting is not alignment indicative.

Anyways, I don't have a problem with farside and lal having votes on any specific person. They look like they're actively trying to figure out the game.

When you say things like "gut feeling" and throw out a vote, it feels like you're doing the opposite.

Well I don't like an Aristophanes lynch as much as a Metalcyanide one. I will point out one potentially scummy sentence Aristophanes has written though.

Post 115: "I really don't get what you want from me".

I've been watching some live Mafia lately and one common scumtell they talk about is any variation of "what do you want from me?"

Apparently people who say this have a very high chance of being scum. Whether this applies to forum Mafia, I dunno.

I don't interpret metal's vote as pressure. He voted, didn't direct any questions toward Orci, then unvoted one day after.

The way Metal does it is scummy. We all have gut-feelings, but we can quantify them by quoting a post or talking about tone. Just saying "I have a gut-feeling" is a super easy way to park a vote and it should be called out.

Re: Ginko, West9, VysePresident, farside22 - their recent posts feel very town. Maybe I'm too easily swayed by textwalls though.

@Ginko: I don't think I see your point, but I appreciate the effort. At the very least, I don't think you and West are a scumpair.

I've posted my feelings on metalcyanide.

Acryon posts quite a lot, but unlike the other townie posters, his posts don't feel like they're actively hunting for scum. They feel more like "I'll comment on this here", "I'll respond here".

I have a similar feeling about orcinus and I look forward to his next post.

-that her read on Aristophanes escalated from her being slightly wary of him to something worth voting for just from him making a naked vote
-her putting Ari close to lynching range when she'd made a big deal out of Lyserg doing the same thing to a lesser degree before
-changing from Ari to Lalendra because he doesn't want a quickhammer
ii) Aristophanes's reasoning in his votepost:
-agrees with the escalating read on him based on the naked vote as being scummy
-that it feels opportunistic that Lalendra sheeped West's reasoning for voting him later
-that Lal was possibly third party hunting
-that West/Metal/Lal scumteam is likely

Love this post. Looking at the wagons, I think there are more scum on Lalendra's wagon than Aristophanes'.

Acryon is scum who doesn't understand how someone can distrust 6 people because he's only hunting for a selection of the scum in this game.
Lalendra case is full of a lot of 'Lalendra is being weird' points and her doing things that people don't understand.
Someone make striking points that I can relate to on Lalendra or you should get on board this sexier wagon.

1) I think providing a town/scum list is beneficial to town and voting off of it is only logical. Tunneling in on one person doesn't give town much information about you.
2) This might be a fair point on later days, but not on D1.

I was hoping more people would jump on Aristophanes.

Aristophanes is a bad lynch. Aristophanes is lowhanging fruit and an easy vote-park. We should stop talking about him and we should instead be looking at anyone currently on his wagon.

Based on how many votes were on him, it's impossible for mafia to be with him unless they were bussing D1. Lalendra the werewolf also voted him D1. He's confirmed town for me.

9 voters have been on him at various points in the day (Ginko, acryon, orcinus_theoriginal, West9, VysePresident, Metalcyanide, farside22, Lalendra, metalcyanide) and he's always been in danger of being lynched.

Right now metal and acryon are on him. They are good lynches. Acryon already looked scummy yesterday.

re: Acryon vote. He was already on my scumlist D1. The fact that he's pushing a wagon on Aristophanes, who is essentially clear, makes me think he's not looking at this game from a town perspective and is more pushing an agenda.

@Aristophanes You have been so close to lynch at several pts on D1. I really doubt scum throws out those token bus votes on anyone who has been so close to death, so early in the day.

@Prawn: Metal was also voting Ari when you made your vote, moreover, he already had three votes on him while Acryon had none (think one of the problems you had D1 was that your Metal vote didn't develop into a sizeable wagon, why not take the chance then?), why did you choose Acryon over Metal? Also, I don't like that your confTown-Ari idea kinda completely dismisses all: bussing, the idea that at least one of those votes on Ari wasn't meant to last, that the remaining non-Ari voters aren't scum with him (like, why couldn't the YYR slot or I be Ari's scumbuddies, considering we both stayed away from the Ari wagon?).

As far as I can gather, you guys are assuming that Aristophanes is a scumpair with YYR/ ~Jordan`

I think a lot of you are basing this on YYR defending Aristophanes on D1.

Mafia pairs do not buddy so overtly. If this is the entirety of your reasoning for pairing Aristophanes with YYR, your vote is bad and possibly scummy.

Also, the fact that a wagon formed so quickly makes me think there's definitely a scum or two on it.

I have 2 theories going.

Theory 1

The fact that we did not get a lynch yesterday is suspicious.

I don't buy that people simply forgot about it. I believe not hammering pisskop was deliberate anti-town play.

Who would not want to vote pisskop there? His scumpartners of course - ~Jordan`and one other.

We should look very closely at the people not on pisskop's wagon.

pisskop and someone not on his wagon are our remaining scum.

The people not or came late to pisskop's wagon are: farside22, Metalcyanide, Cheetory6, VysePresident

Unfortunately, unless there's some pretty hard bussing, I find it hard to come up with a scumpair for Acryon/pisskop

- farside22 is town

- Cheetory6 is town assuming pisskop is scum, as it is unlikely that Cheetory6 is paired with him based on post 740

- VysePresident is town assuming pisskop is scum, it is unlikely that VysePresident is paired with him based on his D1 vote and push

- Metalcyanide is town assuming pisskop is scum, as Acryon attacked him pretty hard D1

Which leads me to:

Theory 2

If pisskop is not scum and we truly did no lynch by accident, I'd say

West9 or Metal are scum.

In which case there's a West9 or Metal (not both), ~Jordan`, some other dude triscumverate.

Seriously though, by POE. I convinced myself a few days ago that Pisskop scumpairs didn't make much sense. Cheetory's position on the Metal wagon totally took him off my radar. Especially considering there was an equally large west9 wagon at the time.

My kills prior to lyzerg were all mafia-hunting. I didn't want to hunt seer until I got at least 1.

After 2 mafia died, I felt more comfortable. I considered between lyzerg and farside as they talked about WW the most, but I picked wrong.

I'm not particularly happy with how I played. I phoned it in after Lalendra got lynched D1.
