Also: For Kiwi's negative health, I guess I'll just use just enough level 0 spells to put Kiwi at 1 and Lily at 1 instead of 4.

I wanted to make something to fill any holes the currently existing party had, which was: Needs more healing and more melee meat. Just the barbarian wasn't enough to keep enemies off of the Bard, Sorc, and Rogue.
I'm going to be summoning animals down the line, too.

Casters become really good at later levels!
Fighters are good too, you just gotta know what you're up to.

I'm going to take a level in wizard yet I kinda want a crow familiar it's not in core. It's exactly like raven but instead of appraise check i get the rats fort save of +2 so basically it's a rat with wings and can speak my language.

So, fakegod, can xayzeck join our group? He will most likely be a Druid. If so, can he start at level two like we are currently at (as in, do we retcon him in as someone who has always been there, or do we meet him on the road)?

Note that larger party size means that XP will be split among larger number of people, and you guys will end up leveling slower than usual.

He will also have to start at level 1.

D&D does reward higher experience points to players that are at lower level, so don't worry about falling behind too much.

Yeah, except the difference would be negligible, like, we would get about 5/6 of the amount as we would have.
