Which lynch will give us the most information for Day 2? I argue it would be DDD. If he flips town, we'd have to look real hard at ika as scum, as well as question Drixx's motives. If he flips scum, Bitmap would have a lot of questions to answer.

Would any other lynch be as useful?

LOL. The only reason I put a vote on DDD was because he hadn't posted anything substantive of his own. He had only responded prior to that with acerbic remarks picking apart the thoughts of others. He has since given some substantial thoughts of his own.

I would say that we learn the most from lynching you or "letters". I am almost certain from my re-reading and his L-1 post that he's town, but knowing for certain will allow for us to evaluate the people who pushed the wagon so hard, including

I don't think we'll get an Ika or Pram lynch today. I'm not willing to vote for someone I'm nearly convinced is town, so I won't be voting for "letters" outside of some kind of extraordinary circumstance. I do think that after re-reading, of the folks who I think look scummy, this is the most likely one that can gain consensus:

Honestly, my stance right now is that lynching anyone is a shot in the dark. A literal 22% chance to hit scum. We have no (decent) cases against anyone, the scum team is probably feeling pretty safe right now. I think the best bet right now is to lynch the person who, if is town, wouldn't have been very helpful to town anyway. The number one person on that list for me right now is actually ika. Number two is letters. I'm not going to move my vote from the guy at L-2 to a guy with 0 votes 7 hours away from deadline.

The fact that we no lynched isn't what infuriates me; it's that we didn't even try. Few were even attempting any sort of strategy. @Diego - I'm about as committed to the game as is possible. The L-1 vote on "letters" didn't show up until 5:50 am my time. By that time I had given up on anyone showing up and voting and gone to sleep (I actually went to sleep around 4am after grading some translation homework from my Greek students). I would say doing work that I usually do from the home office or during office hours just to keep myself awake until 4am is dedicated enough, thanks.

Also, I'm feeling a lot less aggressive about Letters now. I agree with DDD's read that he's acting a lot townier than he was, and I have to say I'm starting to see him from Drixx's POV too.

Finished my catch up.

Drixx started out decent, but now seems way too focused on how to reconcile his past playstyle with this site. Just play the game, dude. His long posts of theory-discussion and complaining could be a mask to try and stifle actual discussion, as I think someone said already.

Drixx, if I'm understanding your vote on DDD correctly, it's based on semantics and the way he answers people. Am I wrong? If not, why vote him for such flimsy reasons when there are plenty of scummier people out there?

Pramitz also seemed pretty town at first, but there's a wishy-washiness in his posts that I don't like. The only exception is when he votes Letters, which is interesting in itself. He immediately preempts the possibility that he's sheeping, and then later does indeed use that as justification that it wasn't sheeping.

Why so focused on looking like you aren't sheeping? Also, why do you want to lynch Diego if Letters ends up being scum? What if Letters ends up town?

Yeah this was a shitty move on my part. I do regret taking my vote off Letters, and honestly I thought I had more time left. I wasn't paying attention to the deadline and didn't realize we were so close to it.

Nothing changed. Letters' slot is scummiest but Pramitz is second, and I want to give Brantz a chance to redeem himself before voting him. It was a toss up between you and Pramitz, really, and I just kind of picked Pramitz on a whim and a hunch.
