If you play like town as a serial killer, you're playing to your strengths: like town, you are uninformed, the only difference being you're an additional minority rather than being part of the majority. You will be more genuine. You will garner townreads easier, be more charismatic easier, be less likely to draw investigatives and less likely to draw other town roles. This increases the chance of being shot at by scum, but that's what being bulletproof is for.
