Welcome to the game. I suggest you take a look a the two biggest wagons here and see what you think of them, as we are most likely to lynch one of the two. You are in the unfortunate position of replacing into this game with not a whole lot of time left in this day, but any input you have would be most helpful.

Ha. I highly doubt I will be of much help.
Drixx and I just finished a game where I replaced in at the last minute and we lost. Town was going to lose anyway but I certainly didn't help it any.

I will read tomorrow. I know time is of the essence, I will get it done.

I think you'll see what I mean quickly. I still read Brantz as all kinds of scummy in this game, but Seraphim has a point about Davesaz I think. It's getting WAY late in the day phase to be waffling, and it's irritating a bit. That's all.

I just want to point out that around half of the people voting me/intending to vote me are voting me because of letters who's play I can't answer for. But we are close enough to deadline that its either me or dave, and sns thinks it should be me.

I actually did reply, maybe you missed it? But I'm willing to repeat. (If I missed something and you're talking about something else I'd be happy to reply to it)

As far as I can tell, Seraphim's argument against my slot is meta against DDD coupled with DDD's passivity. It's pretty hard to actively defend against that kind of case. The only thing I could do was analyze the game and give my own reads.

The scummy things I found in BRantz's play aren't just meta and passive play. It's not an especially strong case, but it's certainly more concrete. Yes, I know BRantz claimed VT -- but scum would do that anyway.

Thank you for responding Dave. I'd like to see a little more urgency from you though. Seraphim is pushing a case against you because you replaced an inactive IC player who normally is super active. The thing is, the whole case depends on the premise that DDD was lying about why he was inactive, but as far as I can tell, he normally plays aggressively and actively no matter his alignment. This is at least weak evidence that a case based upon inactivity is suspect.

So why aren't you fighting back against Seraphim's case?

That typically requires a back and forth -- he says what his case is, I reply to it, he pushes against my reply etc.
I guess I could have counter attacked with a "if this case is so great why aren't you pushing it more".
I'm actually happy you're talking about it, because it was driving me nuts to have so many votes but no action.
