I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of people in certain ranks was place purposely to make it more military like but as for the distribution of scum, I'm not entirely convinced that it has anything to do with rank.

There's two distinct points being discussed here:

1) The distribution of people among the ranks,
2) The distribution of the mafia among the ranks.

Even if you feel 2) was done randomly, which is certainly possible, I for one believe that number one was not. I think there was a fixed predetermined number of people in each rank, and I also believe that number is bigger than 0 for every rank.

Thus, I feel like the ranks which have no claimants
must
belong to people who are lying about their rank. If there are people lying about their rank, they must be claiming a rank which has at least 2 claimants. That's why I'm going after those people...this is independent of any thoughts about how mafia is distributed.

That was pretty much what I meant. But If 2) is done randomly it doesn't matter much that there are no claimants for certain groups IMO

I am leaning with mathcam's theory. I am also leaning towards EPR, since we already have a dead Major. Cadet Battalions usually don't have more than ONE Cadet Major.. That's the Executive Officer.

so you're proposing that he's lying about his rank.

But not his role? His role is somewhat verified.

I don't think he's lying about his role or rank. Really we must acknowledge that the rank thing is just a theory, and far less reliable than the evidence we have of EPR's innocence.

I agree. But this doesn't mean we have to give up the theory, just that we should go after someone other than EPR. I'm leaning more and more toward looking back at those Cadet Airmen.

I'm fine with that too. That's why I haven't changed my vote.

Can somebody enlighten me as to why EPR is cleared? I know his role is confirmed: He can write people up, but does that make him innocent? Isn't he just as likely to be mafia with power to write people up?

Just a note, my suspicions on Cadmium were not detered while reading over the first day of the game. I suggest anyone interested to check it out.

I agree that it is possible for the mafia to have abilities, taking a look at the role names of the dead scum confirms it in my mind. Thus proof of ability is not proof of innocence imo.

Cadmium seems less suspicious to me then most, if for no other reason then the fact that he appears to have no night choice (as prizm's original role would have written him up), granted this is not concrete proof, but it goes a long way for me.

Two things that I find interesting are who have been written up: someone, mathcam, werebear, leo, cd, blackhawk, and id. The two dead on the list had active roles, but that doesn't prove that the others need to, as (correct me if I'm wrong) mathcam's role is not active? But it is something to keep in mind. The other thing is the mason group with unknown intentions. I'm not sure what to make of it right now, but hopefully it won't come back to haunt us at the end of the game.

I got written up, and I don't have a night choice either. There must have been another reason that his name wasn't on the list. So, he's not proven innocent in any way.

Prizm's role seemed to necessitate action in order to be written up, there may be another that does not; however, I will stand by the assumption that at least one of the writting up abilities needs an activity. To draw a parallel the one that always writes someone up is paranoid, whereas the one who writes up due to activity is normal.

Out of the three BB, cadmium, and leo, I personally find leo most suspicious, or at least does not participate sufficiant to alleviate suspicion; however, at the same time there is the fact that chaotic and banana were described in a similar manner to epr, so I'll leave it as a
vote: bb
, for now at least.

I've already explained my lack of participation on the first 3 days, but after that I believe I have being actively participating, so I dunno what I have done wrong.

I have looked at posts made by cadmium, and I'm going to vote him because during this day, he has made a total of 2 posts

I don't think getting Leo replaced would be totally out of line. I mean yes, we can force him to appear probably, but every active participant we have is a better shot we have of winning.

you can lynch me if you want, but I'm definately not scum.

Probably about time I claimed anyway. I'm the spoilt brat with rich parents, every night I have a chance of getting a presant from my parents which is a one shot use of a role (so far I've gotten a guass gun which is a doc protection, and webcam which I'm guessing is a cop investigation)
