This is a tactic I have used before in face to face resistance very effectively. It wound up outing the entire scumteam.

@Titus: Deviant Serenity did the exact same thing you are doing in Resistance Mafia. He wanted us to take the first people who volunteered on a mission without conversation as to their alignments, and he'd then reveal some sort of amazing analysis/plan that would lead us to victory, but he couldn't reveal it until after the first mission. He was scum.
foilist is much more trustworthy than you, at this point.

This game is not resistance. It is explicitly structured so that no information is gained by POE. Titus knows this, yet she is voting for a mission that she will not be on, guaranteeing a strike against town (assuming she's town as she's pretending to be). We learned two major lessons from last game. First, never allow a mission you're not on. Second, there is no information to be gained from missions you are not on (or any).

Even if a player is going every time and the missions keep failing. Blackberry went on all but one mission last game and he was town. Even a player who never goes on a mission and we start to think they must be town. Titus didn't go on a single one until we thought that and she was scum. WE GAIN NO INFORMATION.

The only usable info is playstyle and gut. Period.

And I thought my reaction was funny dammit.

The reason I don't want to take you is that you've simply repeated what others said (Titus is suspicious), without offering any additional thoughts, not even explaining why Titus looks suspicious to you. You look like an active lurker, thus far.

It's not gamebreaking but interesting...I just realized a huge flaw with my idea though. We do not know how many scum are on a mission. So my plan wouldn't work.

If we had an elected captain, we would shutoff scum talking. Captain could not get advice from their buddy so thus has to struggle with nomming them or not.

In resistance, we had a no talking informal rule. One scum nommed the other. Both failed.

So I'm the captain until I declare a team or one of my supporters (Vettrock and/or Mitillos) unvotes me. At that point my vote and theirs are negated and I stop being the captain. The day isn't over. I have no intention of declaring a team any time soon. Additionally, I can only declare a team from among my supporters, i.e. the people voting for me. Titus and McMenno can still vote me and become supporters up until I actually declare a team. Once I do declare a team that's it, the day is over and the mission happens. Unvotes at that point will be meaningless.
