I'm not whoooolly opposed to Mitillos as captain, but from a strict game theory perspective there is no reason to let anyone else be captain other than yourself except when that simply isn't an option, so for now I'll avoid putting him at L-1. I'm not sure how to pursue my line of questioning further just yet, but it still doesn't sit well with me.

I'm waffling between Mitillos and McMenno as the third town. My initial guess was that Titus was budding Mitillos with his vote, but I can see Mitillos's point about scum spreading it around. They only need one scum on the mission for it to fail.

Mitillos, if Captain, who would you bring?

I am scumreading Titus and McMenno. Assuming that at least one of my scumreads is correct, the possible scumteams from my PoV were:

1) Titus/McM
2) Titus/vett
3) Titus/foil
4) McM/vett
5) McM/foil

2 was eliminated on the first day. My first priority is to check 1 (since it has both my scumreads). If I cannot do that, I would check the team Titus recommended (5).
So, for now, I'd be taking vettrock, and one of foilist/Titus, in that order of preference.

Wrong. That prevents scum from convincing you obvtown are scum. Keeping conversation going when the result can only get worse is pointless.

@Titus: The problem here is that you are asserting things that you can't prove. The point is that discussion will help town make better reads. I am not cocky enough to think that my reads are perfect, particularly after a mere 5 pages. So, instead of egging me on to pick a team, how about you allow me to wait, until McMenno answers some questions, and vettrock produces some more content, at the very least?
