Desperado would be nice, basically a nerfed vig. That doesn't conf-town even on town shot.

No. They aren't explicitly non-normal though either. So you could have one in a mini and two in a large I believe.

That does help. Thank you.
Is it true that JOATS and the Ascetic modifier does reduce swinginess in games?
Two or more Ascetic slots I think would help, including basic Ascetic Townies and/or Goons. Anything that effectively reduces swing.

Also, do you guys know how many pre-ins are currently allowed in a Large Normal?

Fair. Point stands, though, since it's near-universal; even in there, they limit it during high-supply periods. (Which are fortunately far and few between.)

Thanks guys.
Sidenote: How effective do you think Ascetic is for controlling swinginess?

It's decent, I see it working to help control roles that could be over-powered. It's effective IMO.

Ascetic would generally be a more pro-mafia role. Its a more reasonable substitute for a godfather since it causes 'no result' instead of misleading results. Also extremely powerful against watchers and trackers, so use with caution. But ya good role, hope it sees some use.

Good role. I think it should become a standard goto rather than Miller/Godfather, it's a version of both that is much more consistent and universal. Not only that, it serves as a replacement for "Macho" for PRs (as long as you don't mind making them immune to roleblock), which is pretty fucking cool. Literally three modifiers in one, but UNLIKE Hider, everything it does is super immediately obvious because it's all easy to summarize.

I agree with GreyICE about Ascetic. (And yes, its existence in a setup normally helps scum, regardless of who has it, but you can take that into account when balancing.)
As a side note: it's day 1, and you're an Ascetic Townie. Do you claim? I'm really unsure on this issue myself.

Claim? Maybe not explicitly.
Make abundantly clear through hints? You're gonna regret it if you don't.

I've seen it once.

Wait, duplicate roles can be normal?

Also we should really denormalize godfather and ninja because those should eventually be classified as bastard.

I disagree. They're important counters to strong investigative roles.
