23 pinged me because it's setup contemplation solely revolving around the Mafia faction. Like something an exited returning Mafia would think about early on as the thrill of the game comes rushing back to them.

Conman, I dunno about gut: rvs/rqs allows me to get a better 'base' read on people, but I know a lot of people on the site hate it. Also, it kinda depends what you, individually, mean when you say gut: your gut has generally been prompted by something, even if later it proves incorrect against other, stronger evidence. (Does that make sense?) Anyway, please do share your thoughts. Jeanne, too: who do you think could be maf?

Thanks Bellaphant, that's a fairly concise answer. I'm relatively new to the site, most of my experience comes from a cardgame variant, so reading people is much easier.
I can see what people are getting at re:lane and post 23, although personally I thought it was fairly innocuous.
Basically I'm kind of slow to get reads. Also, some people notice mad stuff from simple things. For example, they'll possibly pick up on something from your reply, or even something in this post! Part of what makes forum based Mafia so very interesting. Sometimes it's like you can hear the gears clicking away in people's heads!
I shall inform you all of anything I think is noteworthy as the game progresses.

I say gut mostly because it's hard to explain what I feel when I read in someone's post.
In the case of bela it stiles me as fake and trying too hard.
I read fake posting as scummy but sometimes I know it's all in how you read a post so it gets reduced to gut then fact.
