I think it should be able to handle a non-breaking-space. Try typing in Alt+0160 and see what happens.

mccoyn needs a title IMHO. It seems silly that he still has "Townsperson". I'd suggest "Never Scum" off the top of my head but I am sure we can do better.

If he's getting a title (and I have my doubts that mith will give a title to somebody with 0 games posts but 799 total posts) "Rumble Scum" strikes me as more appropriate than anything.
My comment about YB was half-facetious, as I don't think give YB " " is a good title, just like I don't think giving CPE "Virgin" is a good idea.
At some point, sheer perseverance might push one of those through.
