No, I don't think it was a planned bus. I think that they moved onto him when his claim didn't fly. My experience with scum who flub a claim is that their buddies are often the most virulent about targeting them, because they figure he's going down anyway, and want towncred off it. Iecerint, seriously, review his play Wisdom. I don't know why you'd rule it out that quickly.
