Pop me in for Big Brother, once again using the Deterministic Big Brother format by the lovely Kelly Chen. Player number is to be decided and will honestly probably not be completely decided until I get applications since the game is very easily scaleable since it's just about spending points. Will probably be run on the Jon Kelley account.-

Actually, just make my queue for Murder in Small Town N (10 players, 1-15 non-player "actors") with co-moderator Flameaxe.
A murder has occurred in the quiet town of Pierce, New Hampshire. A small little village, the crime has sent the entire town into a frenzy. Can our investigators work their way through the web of lies, deceit, and small-town politics to uncover the murderer before they're hunted down one by one as part of his twisted game?-

I was under the impression that the non-player actors (who are still a crucial part of the game, though they're not competing) would push it over the limit, but if you're not counting them in it, I'll gladly bypass the queue.-

I think it would also be likely to draw a reasonably different crowd (and managing this crowd's commitments is around 60% of the point really), so you should be fine. If you struggle to find signups, let me know, but I don't think you will.

No, we'll be doing applications, but I'll gladly keep a list of people to inform once we're ready to go.-

Questions:
It's been many years since I posted or played here, so do I have to re-prove myself or can I have my moderator powers back in the event I start inventing and running games again?
How does the queue work in this subforum?
Can I propose a game and make a signup thread or do I have to run it past admin/mods first?
Does anyone want to play Factions?
Does anyone remember me?
Do I remember anyone?
Who are you, identify yourself!?
Where am I?!!?I own a design studio :)-

Hey, we should talk. JDGA and I have been putting together a similar style game. If you want (no obligation) we can all put our heads together and see if our ideas can mesh. If they don't, no big deal and we can run our own separate games.
But I like the way your mind works, so I'd really like to pick it.Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.
13 heads and counting now, plurality is adaptive. If our experience might help you, click here.
If you wish tospeak to one of us, we are Niamh, Rhiannon, Rhea, Aisling, Saoirse, Selene, Aoife, Fírinne, Aurélie, Lyra, Airna, Fiadh and Laoise.

There are no modding experience requirements for non-social games on Mish Mash, but you need a co-mod for anything big (for example, a Survivor, a Big Brother, or similar).
How does the queue work in this subforum?
Just announce your large social game and you're in the queue. Anything that isn't large and social can just be posted.
Can I propose a game and make a signup thread or do I have to run it past admin/mods first?
If it's not a large social game, then you can just make the thread.
Does anyone want to play Factions?
What is it?
I don't recognize you, but I only joined a couple years ago. Hello!“The assumption of good faith is dead”

Anyone can run a Mish Mash game, generally...
How does the queue work in this subforum?
The queue is only for large social games such as Survivor/Big Brother. Anything with player elimination, more than like 12 players, and expected to take a long time should go through the queue.
Can I propose a game and make a signup thread or do I have to run it past admin/mods first?
If it's not a large social game, you can just make a thread.green shirt thursdays-

Factions was my most successful invention that actually ran to completion. Let me dig up a link...

I feel like this may be better to do over PMs to not drown out the thread, so doing that."Animorpherv1's posts are so powerful that prolonged exposure may cause vertigo, nausea, acute tinnitus, and in rare cases, death." - vonflare
