I agree with Random that your theory for Random/Marcrell both being scum is reaching pretty hard. Your last point on Marcrell is pretty good though.

148 - Random, I'm not sure ASP said it wouldn't make sense for scum to purchase the Flame Orb (if he did, I missed it).

I actually think it would be a viable scum strategy to purchase it and give it to town (especially if not everyone can give it away and they may be stuck with it)

I disagree that spreading damage is the way to go. We should consolidate on one/two targets because we need flips to provide more information to the game and spreading out the damage is not a great way of doing it.

PEdit - I'm clearly not reading the rules properly. Where does it state scum have day-talk?

I don't get this. If you target yourself, that means whatever your move is in the attack phase it affects you. So, yeah, can you clarify?

I'm not sure about this whole Flame Orb. I see no town motivation in purchasing it. I'm wondering whether Random bought it thinking that he could give it away before it burned him and therefore hiding the fact that he had bought it in the first place.

In the BattleShop, it states it causes a burn status. Maybe he thought the burn status wouldn't take effect until after the first attack phase.

I also didn't see Mod's post in my PEdit for some reason.

I have a move that lets me give my item away. This works by tartgetting myself then choosing my target in the attack phase.
