okaaaay...so, what? Does the push look scummy? Why? Is it just RVS? Give us an opinion, not a statement.

Whatcha wanna do about it?

^ Good posting.

Why is Bella the towniest player?

Yeah, why? This seems an odd assertion to make. Almost as odd as GC's assertion that she's obvtown :P

We should have BB and BobLob to keep them apart.

Ducky's posting has been super strange, she isn't showing much engagement. RVS is over now, so this better change.

So, is bad, but Kay's next post is a little better.

@Kitty, it's just there's no content, so it's hard to get a read from. Also, no desire to sort the game. I'm not going to argue that RVS is a state of mind, but generally when a few questions get asked, we're done. Which makes UT's post questionable.

Frogger is town. KayP is reaching, but she might be genuinely confused. @GC, why that vote? I'm missing the obvious, obviously :P He used meta, 'coz KayP was talking about it, no?

KayP's vote is worse, though, especially in response to GC
telling her to follow-up vote

Am I being paranoid, or is frog/kayP/GC interaction pinging for anyone else?

@Kay, it was really vague. You seemed to saying you were commenting on the l-2 just to comment, which isn't really moving anything forward. Also, the burden of proof thing seemed backwards, so there wasn't a lot of drive behind your post.

@Frog, yeah, that's what I meant, sorry. Also, I've answered Kitty's questions

@boblob, what am I missing? 'Coz that looks like a naked vote waaaay too late in the game.

You said you saw something you haven't explained (it might be his meta push?) then mentioned re-voting, and Kay immediately follows you on to Frog. I didn't like her vote jump in response to your prod. What did you think about it?

@Frog, she was obviously joking, otherwise lalal would be dead. Also, 'coz your vote was on her, she would be extra dead. So saying it was suspicious, while still supporting the wagon, is bad.

@ Frog, Fancy voting TTH instead? l-2 without comment is pretty odd, I don't disagree.

Also, I mis-read your mis-read, which is...understandable, I guess. In terms of it being a joke, I guess it's more obviously one if you took it as 3 votes for the same person, rather than 3 random votes. Some games do have multiple voting powers, though.

Hmmm...

TellTaleHeart wrote:Is this going to be "let's take little potshots at TTH because Bella is my houseplant"? I'm telling you right now, I'm going to fucking hate your guts if you play that game.

There's really nothing that says the scum read on Kay is legit and I
really
don't like Bella's reaction to Glork because the context very much suggests "kneejerk reaction." If you want to argue those point in ~words~ please do so. If you think the Kay push is super-de-dooper and beautiful, fine. The sharpshooting at "ergh, something about the time frame" or "Let me be obtuse and everything is so clearly explained" is irritating.

You got potshots because your case doesn't make sense, and it was worded in a disingenuous way: you vote lalla at -2 without comment, which is a bit gross because I've just played a non-newbie game that ended after 7 PAGES 'coz of shit like that. Frog thinks you have magical voting powers, but doesn't react against it the way I'd expect: we later find this is because he mis-read the situation and I mis-read his mis-read! The mis-read of the joke also, to me, makes Frog's weird meta push on, like page 2 more understandable: it's easy to see how the same person who would miss a joke would do that. So my read on him improved. @boblob, does that clarify things for you too?

The progression of thought is super obvious, as were my concerns about Kay.

TellTaleHeart wrote:Her alternative was to tell Glork to lick her ass and that she wasn't going to vote Kay.

The Kay vote was happening whatever.

In post 194, Bob Loblaw wrote:It still does not follow.

"Frogger saw X as suspicious. Frogger continued to push wagon despite suspicion X."

Even if she originally viewed X as the triple vote nonsense, she should have recognized that the same principle applies to the L-2 Vote.

That whole interaction just feels off. I feel there's definitely scum in at least one of Frogger + Bella.

I'm actually not understanding your point here? It feels opposite to the one you were making previously.

@bice-bob, are you still rvs-ing?

p-edit, hmmm, tth. What are you differentiating your base-line for 'awkward newbs' on?

No, I actually think your point on lala's response to you is really weird, TTH. If you aren't legit, and you were the loudest banger of my scum-drum, where's her read gone?

p-edit, @Frog, it's frustrating as this is a shorter deadline day

@Untrod - really? My scum-read on them has been pretty consistent. However, I like their post about lala's activity and wish she'd mentioned it earlier.

My vote is doing anything right now, though, and the day is quick.

UNVOTE:

The lack of content, when pushed, is not town-play.

@Unpod, I assume you are town-reading Glork: why? It looked earlier like you were happy to sheep TTH, but her read on Glork is significantly different to yours: what's your read on her now?

@KayP, I actually got town vibes from that post ^!. I think Shaddox was buddying me and also throwing suspicion my way at the same time: notice Glork's associative, even though the majority of that interaction has been one way. You might like 334, but I think some of his reads are unflexible.

@Glork, KayP, what's the case for relying on associatives before a flip? I've been trying to wean myself out of that way of thinking.

@TTH heart: what do you think of Bibob?

@Unpod, I wasn't assuming, which is why I asked.

@KayP, because Glork's main push on me seems to be 'undefined scummy thing' and then 'associatives'. Good to know, though.

@Frog, you know what, that's fair. I'm gonna be honest: I got a little weirded out by TTH's push on me, and the 'houseplant' comment threw me for a loop and my play dipped. Sure you know why I'm wary of drama right now. About the suspicion bit: it seemed such an odd read, considering I was gaining some votes by that point, so 'postcard townie' can't have been true. if I was the lynch for today, and flipped scum (not happening) after that post would you look at shadox? No, 'coz scum wouldn't be that blatant, right? (I think they would). Similarly, if shaddox flips scum, scum still want mislynches, so the same thing: who was shaddox giving weird town reads on...? There's also just plain old buddying. I'd say I was just paranoid about that, but the 'Kay is the most scummy, not scummy, so I won't vote, but I will...

I should probably follow my town-reads for a bit (you, GC). I'm even warming up to Kay (null, rather than town, but getting better). :S

@Frog

Spoiler:
I take the feedback, and I'm gonna use the night-phase to re-read and get my groove back. In the other game we actually communicated well, so hopefully you are town and we can repeat.

See, that's the bit I would disagree on, that I was playing as 'post-card townie', otherwise TTH and Glork wouldn't have seen anything to push. Maybe I overreacted to Shaddox's slight buddying because it felt so disproportionate? I do understand what you are saying, though...

Yeah, I meant the general 'you', sorry. IRT Kay, she's engaging well now, and even if I don't agree with everything, she is prodding at kind of the right things. Also, no lynching is bad for town, and she seems flexible enough with her reads to want to avoid this. It's not enough for a town-read yet, though.

Same. Someone asked me for my read on the slot: his early game was townie, it dipped a bit, now I'm not sure. But I said I'd follow my town-reads and the strongest two are on that wagon.

Would prefer a claim, tho.
