I wasn't talking about my first newbie game.

I dropped this earlier because i thought you were referring to ~ongoing~ (i didn’t know who or what game, but i didn’t want to guess) but I just remembered saad from Exotic Birds which is completed. so yeah I remember now, sometimes town are just naturally scummy. but I have seen plenty of “to scummy to be scum” examples that flipped scum. I just think that something is broken if we assume VI instead of scum everytime someone scumslips.

Yeah, I hadn't looked at the meta when I voted him. It was the tone of the post. After looking at it the meta part isn't so convincing to me, but hey it's page one.

Catching up, I'll try to be as brief as possible.

I liked Fro99er's entrance, and Mathdino's non-RVS reasons for voting Fro99er in 18 seems contrived, and I'm not happy with how toolendo hopped on the wagon and stayed there after admitting that Mathdino's case is "not so convincing". texcat and I appear to be of a same mindset on that issue, as well as Thor. Don't like Mathdino's reasons for switching his vote to texcat - c'mon man, those are reasonable observations. Didn't like the PL vote on Lapsa over his top scumread.

Fro99er looks townish to me.

Do not like Lapsa's entrance (or his later posts) at all. I'm somewhat familiar with his playstyle (see Mini 1666), and while his D1 posting style isn't alignment indicative, it's my opinion that his play style is a distraction at best, and toxic at worst. I would not want to see town!Lapsa in a MYLO or LYLO scenario at all. I'm not going to waste a lot of time analyzing this slot today, but I'd policy lynch the slot if there were no better options.

I liked Plotinus' entry at first, seemed fairly townish, but I don't like calling out the "crumb" and his analysis of reasons for crumbing VT left something to be desired. I'm going to leave my vote here for the time being.

I like abuse's entry and lines of inquiry, town leaning on this slot for now. Shinobi's entrance is OK. I'm was OK with Zoronos' entry as well, but his later interactions with Thor seem awkward.

BBT's entrance is underwhelming. I really want to see some content from this slot. CB's late entry seems OK.

Dislike this vote. I thought Tex's vote and reasoning were pretty decent for that point in the game.

abuse has actually stepped into scumread from this past conversation. He seems to be doing a lot of "arguing that people are wrong" and not much of "arguing people are scum". He starts what amounts to a useless semantics debate with Shinobi and (correct me if I'm wrong) spent a page arguing that Plotinus's vote 'looks bad' and not 'scummy'.

Motivation to understand - Naked votes are confusing. Shinobi pushing back immediately suggests Shinobi is trying to understand the game state, which is a town mentality.

Abuse is actually playing scummy, imo. 67 reads super fake. Frogger's posted opinions on Platonius 2 or 3 times; it was a question already answered in the thread. Also, calling something 'interesting' as a synonym for scummy I am not down with. (He clearly was implying scummy, otherwise he wouldn't be interrogating Frogger or using a pejorative)

Ploti's honesty reads towny to me. He provided a link to the vanilla crumb from a previous game, he's got the right mindset about Lapsa when he responded to you about "towning up the slot on page 3".
