Depends on how you operate. Anytime I sit down to play, I get progessively worse as the session wears on. My first game is always lights out. This probably has to do with fatigue and waning interest as the minutes playing wear on. If it were me, I definitely would say ranked first but who knows.
Depends on difference in stack time and damage and whether or not a better build path comes up that favors tiger vs phoenix. It definitely makes udyr a lot better and he's already good.
I just had the first game i've ever played in ranked where the other team says to push mid, they're all 5 afk... and then they were. 13 minute game. Back into Gold promos, though kind of silly.
We got up 5 kills to 0 and then aced them (making it 10-0), so it was pretty much over anyway, but...

Not in lane it wouldn't be. Kassadin relies heavily on a roa rush, and doesn't even NEED lich bane to work properly. So, rushing challenging smite + runeglaive would actually fuck over your laning phase, as his first big spike is with catalyst + level 6.

Runeglaive Ezreal is special because it makes his Q magic damage. This means that all the magic penetration you buy suddenly makes it stronger, whereas normally the physical damage falls off without last whisper or similar, along with squishy ranged champs and champs in general having lower magic resistance than armor. And it's only a little more expensive than the otherwise-standard lichbane rush.

I don't think kassadin can clear early, honestly. Way too squishy with not enough damage.
