Just out of curiosity, as someone who doesn't have much experience with millers - what is the benefit to claiming miller right out the gate? That makes you a target for the first NK so why do it at all? I'm inclined to believe he is town and not scum, based on his response and the fact that, holy shit he's right, that is an accepted strategy; I just don't get it.

As far as I'm concerned, the only logical time to claim miller is if there's a wagon building on you and you're trying to convince town that you aren't scum; as Catboi pointed out, you're less likely to be believed then, but it seems to me that claiming early is more likely to result in a mislynch than doing nothing.

The benefit is that a cop doesn't waste an investigation on you and doesn't have to out himself for getting a guilty. A miller isn't useful to town, as he has no other abilities, so losing this PR is not really a bad thing for town.

It could result in a mislynch, yes, but if there's a cop, he will remain safe this way.

I kind of wanna vote catboi because his miller claim looks fishy, and yet I don't nessacarily think claiming miller would be the best option for a scum, for example if there was a cop not in the game your basically gonna lose if you go to lylo, and if there is another miller then they can counterclaim (multiple millers aren't very common)

I guess I'm gonna keep my vote on grib. Nothing else really catches my eye. Also if this game doesn't take off like team rocket real quick, then we are gonna end up with a random lynch.

While I agree that superbowl's post is pathetic it's not worth voting him for at this point, although antitown it doesn't necessarily hve any scum motivation. He needs to either step up or be replaced.
