Which is unlikely, IMO. I think TL is just a stronger team.

I've personally learned to never underestimate playoffs TSM. They always manage to find feats of utter bullshit.nd pull it off.

And I don't even like TSM.

Playoffs TSM always show up, but I still think Liquid has the advantage because:

1) TL has had an extra week to prepare (assuming they spent the week before GV/TSM prepping 50-50 for each, or they spent it doing more general prep)
2) TSM already had to bring out a specific strategy vs. GV. TL knows that TSM can run Olaf comps, so they're going to have something prepared for that (unlike GV, who likely didn't expect it at all)
3) TL still has stronger individual players.

Dom is #2 in NA. Santorin is 4 at best.

we'll see what happens, but CLG has much more to gain by winning the finals. TSM is into worlds either way. CLG has to have TL lose in the 3rd place match to get into worlds without going through the gauntlet.

I really like how TSM can always show up hard at Playoffs and usually makes strong statements at worlds, but I honestly wish they could be consistent in the actual regular season as well.

if you watch TSM Legends they basically(see:Regi figured it out) that they basically only played to scale and 'not lose' instead of trying to win. Basically accurate, and definitely carried over that sloppiness into games 1 and 2, but games 3 and 4 were very decisive. It actually feels like they don't want to just wait for the other team to fuck up and win because they can win that way.

idk. I think they can grow more until worlds. How much more.... that's up to them.

They aren't going to beat Korea, though. They may make it through the 3rd seed, but SKT is a whole 'nother beast. And I'm positive that if China doesn't knock them out they WILL be in the finals again.

Not sure if NA would have any team favored over Fnatic, although the 2 and 3 seeds from NA are going to be stronger than EU, IMO.

i don't think any of the NA teams are appreciably stronger than Origen. They may have more success at worlds, they may beat Origen straight up, but I don't think they're obviously better.

Also worth pointing out that Worlds is a long time away and teams change a lot over that time.

And... of course it's very possible Origen won't even qualify for worlds. They need to beat Fnatic or they're going to have to go through the gauntlet, potentially having to win two games if H2K gets 3rd (UoL will have more points than Origen)

UoL still way too inconsistent to be top 3. I'd put both ORI and CLG ahead of them.

I am pretty sure that given how insane teams are able to rotate now at the top of the game, and how we are going in to a run at your face meta, there will be upsets in the world championships.

Expect Fnatic to do things in worlds they haven't done before. xPeke's laning was always a big issue for them against the absolute top teams (At least last year it was), that's not an issue any more.

who did they play in those games? because 7-3 isn't that great if they mostly played bad teams and 2-6 isn't that bad if they played fnatic, origen, and h2k. Or even gambit for a while there.
