Sometimes I am baffled by the way people approach this game. These townreads for completely regular posts are just depressing. Sorry I'm not enough of a Good Player to notice that these things are super duper town

cephrir how does lynching cpu not give you valuable info?

I don't see how your 2006 joindate coiuld make you this derpy

You admit I can't be inventor. So who do you think is? Why not use occams razor and just take it as cpu was lying and is scum? Its not hard.

CPU's inventions are SUPER strong as scum. Seriously. Yeah, they saved mattp

he died the next night, anyway and CPU got a free ride to the end of the game.

I already have the information that either there is a scum inventor or CPU is scum, and that's not that different from knowing there's a scum inventor and CPU is dead.

I'm lynching the player I feel is most likely to flip scum. There are no ifs ands or buts to be had here. I'm just trying to figure out who that is, though I have a pretty good idea.

They haven't been on my town list.

It's a very risky play, but I absolutely acknowledge it could be the case here.

Right now I think it's Hodor. Unless I become convinced that I should vote for CPU, that is probably where I'm going today.

I would bite with hodor, honestly. I'd be fine with CPU > hodor > you

Towncore member #5: Hiplop

I was persuing his ISO last night and found his ridiculously town but couldn't explain why. It's mostly the confidence with which he pushes his reads that look like a no-nonsense type read pushing. It is the strong language he uses and lack of ingratiating himself anywhere with anyone that sticks out.

In post 52, hiplop wrote:
In post 25, CPU Candidates wrote:I don't understand the votes on Shazam-san

guys, read this post and tell me it isnt the most awkward post ever?

scum trying to look helpful and useful no matter what!

VOTE: cpu candidate

fake ass shit

Like take this post for instance. See the confidence? "Fake ass shit." "isn't this the most awkward post ever?" Stuff like this is hard for scum to fake unless they are elite level because it really comes across like he believes what he is saying. Scum faking scumreads on townies don't believe what they are saying.

In post 67, hiplop wrote:cpu is obvscum

I don't see scum saying this about a townie so early on in the game. Perhaps on a partner, sure. But it takes a certain level of confidence which I don't think hiplop would have if he was scum to push no holds barred the way he did here.

In post 147, hiplop wrote:banakai, in your two latest posts you have soft- white knighted cpu, and then proceeded try and (flimsily) create pressure elsewhere

whats going on here?

The abrasive and digging nature of this post is again a hard-to-fake type.

In post 323, hiplop wrote:spicer. arguing semantics does nothing for you. you're trying to "lawyer" us and failing. come clean.
In post 329, hiplop wrote:sounds awful like youre trying to bye time typing in your pt.

come fucking clean

His escalating temper as he gets pissed off that spicer is lying would have come across differently if hiplop was scum here. I think he'd be a little more worried about rolefishing and not yelling at the person to claim properly. It looks genuine.

In post 344, hiplop wrote:ugh. if this guys town im in shock

This also looks like he believes what he's saying.

In post 453, hiplop wrote:CPU yoh realize of anyone in this game you'd be the only one worthy of a PL right now...

Distancing from someone who agrees with the push. Why antagonize CPU here for absolutely no fucking reason if he was scum and CPU was helping him push his target?

In post 803, hiplop wrote:Cephrir I'm confirmed town for the third time gah

I would be fine with a mattp lynch, actually. Something not sitting right

An out-of-the-blue attack on the de-facto town leader isn't something scum would do? Nah, that's paranoid town.

In post 963, hiplop wrote:Actually, looking back at the post that REEKS of rolefishing, doesnt it?

VOTE: hobgoblin

And fuck am I happy to vote one of these lurkers

Look at how understated this vote is. When scum bus their partners, there is a lot more pomp and ceremony about it. Not just "yeah, lurker, fucking lynch him." Hiplop really has no idea who's scum and who's town. He's playing from an uninformed perspective.

In post 1249, hiplop wrote:VOTE: heartless

im convinced.

i forgot heartless was antihero. dude is super easy to pick out as scum

This is town too. Scum are less likely to "forget" who's who if they all posted in a private topic. Not to mention, once he learned the identity of a member of Heartless, he used it as a reason for a scumread and did it in a way that didn't look fake.

In post 1503, hiplop wrote:how is cephrir so good that he convinced people that a confirmed townies claim that I was confirmed town makes me a valid lynch target, but his scummy ass role that makes no sense for a warthog gives him a clear?

THIS GUY IS GOOD. SERIOUSLY.
In post 1609, hiplop wrote:CPU WHAT MAKES YOU THINK FARSIDE WOULD LIE

WHAT MAKES YOU THINK CEPHRIR IS TOWN

HOLY SHIT THIS IS NUTS. PEGASUS/LEVEL1/HALF OF HODOR/FEYSAL PLEASE WIN THIS GAME FOR US. IM PROBABLY GONE TODAY and gah. Feysal please get off your depressed lynch me attitude. youre a good player and likely town. Please stop tunneling and see the warhog in the room

Anyone who reads these two posts and thinks they come from scum need to tie themselves to an InterContinental Ballistic Missile and launch themselves at Russia.

Who does this leave?

1. Annarchy
2. CPU Candidates
3. Cephrir

Scum are in here.

Tomorrow, when I look at all of these players, I will narrow it down.

@ Hurricane Hodor
, on a glance through your ISO, you keep saying that CPU Candidates are town from play. Why do you reading them as town? I have them as a black spot with them being possible scum after Cephrir and Annarchy. Also for a moment there, I thought you were making sense but then came your atrocious vote on Hiplop. Please re-read his posts and tell me you've seen the error of your ways.

@ Cephrir, the thing with Hurricane Hodor isn't that they are faking emoticons or making logical posts. It is that their reads change according to things that happen in thread a lot like mine do. Initially they suspected Feysal. When Feysal started making those very townie posts, they back off.

And the push on Heartless came when they didn't need to bus.

Do you never townread someone if they post something that you wanted to say before you had a chance to say it? Hurricane Hodor repeatedly said what I wanted to say before I could actually say it and from POV, that's a big towntell.

your list is composed entirely of town

now that it's obvious hiplop isn't confirmed town, I'm 100% fine with this lynch because based on his play alone he's got nothing going for him. Feysal and Pegasus are the other two possible options. everyone else is town :)

Caught up again. The activity in this game is weird, but I've already said that.

I see Cephrir unvoted, before my last post. That is good. I think it is possible the one-shot hated has already been used, so we should not wagon beyond L-2 unless we are sure we want to lynch.

Did anyone else notice in the middle of that post explosion that Hurricane Hodor has yet to claim their targets?
