I don't think he would be that annoyed if he got a guilty on him at the beginning of the game.
I think he, like me, would probably enjoy the challenge and would spend time seeing if he could beat me in a 1v1.
His response makes sense if he didn't think it was serious when he first saw it and he feels he can wiggle out of a lynch by making it just seem like a weird fucked up bastard guilty.

You can't seriously be arguing that Eli framed himself. Second, apathy is just as likely as annoyance for outed scum.

I think it's very not likely that Elli framed himself. If he did, he would have just let me lynch him earlier in the game.

Like, it's obvious that if he's scum, he's not getting far. The only way Elli survives to day 3 is by being town and doing beautiful town things. That's it. Any scum worth his or her salt is desperately clinging onto that tiny bit of cred they can get by hardpushing for an elli lynch or ignoring the lynch completely and hoping I fuck up the read terribly.

Which is also why I'm surprised people think I could be bussing him? If I wanted to bus him based on a fake result, I would have made him dead by now for the cred.
Dropping a guilty result and then pussyfooting around his lynch afterwards just decreases the amount of cred I would be getting for a bus like that.
Not to mention I wouldn't bus Elli anyways (considering I've been waiting forever to play with him), but this isn't really something anyone else would know.

I don't think this makes sense from a town perspective, but I could see scum doing something like this so that DOMO townread them or to emulate making weird gut pushes as town.

It's hard for me to look at his posts and go "okay, this is clearly town who is scumhunting". I can see this as scum jumping on easy shit when he finds it; he did unconditionally trust the guilty from me on Elli, backed off it quietly for no real reason, sheeped me, and then jumped to attacking me. If there's a thought process in any of this, would love if someone pointed it out and showed me the light.
