Fuck priests. Literally nothing you can do against them while I'm trying to do fucking dailies. That's all anyone plays so I can't win~

I never see Priests unless I also happen to be playing Priest myself. It's like the game knows, and forces every Priest game I play to be s mirror match.

AP! <3

I didn't realize it either but it is HILARIOUS when you're using DIE INSECT 5 times in one turn for the win. It's like Freeze Mage, but with an actually fun wincon.

Wait, is that that Coldara Drake/Majordomo deck? That looks awesome.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

I don't know if it's like a real deck, I just saw on Hearthpwn that somebody put together a freeze mage deck that used Coldarra Drake and Majordome as the finish rather than Antonidas.

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/319161-l ... ferno-mage is the decklist I was thinking about.

Ahhh -- that looks pretty cool.

I ran into a wall last night of facing a ton of priests and I gave up for the night. My list cannot handle the standard dragon Priest list at all... I basically have to save the single polymorph for Ysera, which makes early game really obnoxious. Gonna have to do some tweaking.

I think what makes me the most mad about HS is that I want to play control and there are too many decks that punish you for doing so.

Like, I want to think about my moves, and if I lose, lose because my moves were bad.

When I'm control against things that rush face and kill me before I can drop my first taunt, it pisses me off.

I want to craft a Mage deck specifically designed to SHIT ALL OVER AGGRO and beat Midrange.

Did I just describe Freeze Mage?

Dragon Priest does what you're talking about, I think. Wyrmrest Agent at 2 is a good anti-aggro taunt, and it usually draws a Silence so they don't have anything for Twilight Guardian. Combine that with Twilight Whelp to trade favorably early, and your choice of Blackwing Technician or Deathlord at 3 to further punish aggro. Then you've still got stuff like Blackwing Corrupter, Cabal Shadow Priest, and Chillmaw to just take over if they can't finish. And there's still room around the edges for some tech like Auchenai+Circle or Wild Pyro, though Dragons do take up a lot of the room for that stuff that Priest used to have.

Even traditional control priest has tons of tools against aggro. That said, dragon priest is just better since TGT came out.

Maybe I just need to tweak my Dragon Priest to be a bit more controlly. Right now I feel like that deck is basically just PLAY VALUE DUDES AT EACH TURN which isn't really what control is about

just play control priest then
some pros have been working on it and there are lists that are potentially better than dragon.

Control priest might be better than Dragon at rankings 1-400, but I doubt it will ever be better than Dragon from Angry Chicken to Sea Giant, because there is always plenty of face hunter, and Wyrmrest Agent is so incredibly cash against Face Hunter.
Twilight Whelp too.
Both priests beat Face Hunter I'm sure but the Dragon version almost certainly slips up and loses many fewer times.
At much higher ranks that's less attractive because Face Hunter is not actually a good deck right now, it's just being overplayed due to affordability, so you probably run into it less
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"

At one point I saw a control priest list out there that sort of focuses on Aucheani Soulpriest with stuff like Flash Heal that looked fun. The idea of flash heal + hero power to take out Dr Boom feels delicious.

Not just that, but Priests also get Lightbomb, which takes out Dr. Boom and his bots in one go!

Well yes, but Lightbomb fills a completely different role than a single target removal spell.
