Maybe, my gut tells me that if the target is scum, the target's scum partners would be doing something about it by now. Unless scum is all on the people who haven't posted and i don't think they would stay silent by now if that was the case.

Imagine KN is scum and was quickly pushed by town.

What do scum do? If they try to establish a counter-wagon, it will probably be based on a terrible argument and it will be super incriminating if the lynch goes through. So they lurk or bus, but bussing also looks terrible.

Not a good reason for cold feet, but I'm hoping for good things from pie.

I do disagree yes. Becuase I literally see zero scum benefit in what Kamigami did there and I have no idea why anyone would try to say "This can come from scum" other than to destroy those townreads.

Scum benefit comes in the form of towncred, dearie.

I don't really see anything that I strongly associate with his scumplay. I don't think your point is especially compelling, and it seems like his initial vote was to feel out something that he developed a stronger opinion on based on your response.

Apologies for late participation and for not commenting on every single post. Twenty-five pages are hard to catch up on :-/.

In post 31, Fluff Central wrote:VOTE: Oil Tycoons

Hi guys.

This is a game with a fuckton of hydra, so we all need to be considerate of our postcounts. Please please please try to keep them under control, if someone's posting gets over the top out of control they need to be purged.

That is all.

Non-town mindset. Lynching players because of postcount is never in town's favor.

Are you implying fire is bad, and why? My impression from mod notes is that such flavors were randomized and aren't alignment-telling.

Same question goes to Oil Tycoons.

In post 69, Wall of Fire wrote:Let's move beyond this topic and progress to the next phase of the game, wherein we build a wagon on LynxKuroneko.

Why do you want to build a wagon? (Please understand that this is my first game with y'all, so I may be missing obvious sarcasm/metas).

Notscience:

1) Good luck getting us lynched because I'm sure as fuck not going to artificially deflate my post when it's fun to post and I'm in the greatest hydra on both side of the Mississippi.

2) If you're serious about changing the spam meta, the important things to cut down on are more objective than postcount. I've never understood why it is difficult to scroll past a string of 5 posts of someone having fun. In my opinion, it's the protracted arguments where people say the same thing over and over again instead of looking and comprehending another player's argument that provide damage to game state and the way you change that is by playing with extra care and consideration, not by threatening to policy lynch people who don't play the way you want them to.

Scrolling past posts w/o reading them may lead to missing important information.

In post 82, Medea the Alien wrote:Young hydra heads madly in love seek marriage officiant of the most prim and proper degree.

Oh also this should be obvious but for those of you new to polarity-based mechanics, treat your attributes like you would a power role; don't claim them without reason.

Townie mind set. In addition to doing research on mod meta and what not.

In post 155, Fluff Central wrote:If I was truly confident in my read, I would be pushing it.

My vote was on OT as RVS, and I know they aren't going to do anything in retaliation to the wagon on them. I didn't like your post, so voted you. I haven't moved it because I'm undecided on where I want it.

Probably town. Though opting not to share thoughts reeks of scum.

In post 236, Fluff Central wrote:Tammy, you were grilling OT pretty hard and then took the opportunity to vote me without actually pressing me for anything.

Why?

Another town post by FC.

In post 265, Oil Tycoons wrote:
In post 256, Fluff Central wrote:I think you know that I am wary of you regardless of how you approach me. For the most part in that game that just finished, you just outright ignored me. At times, you tried to coax stuff out of me similar to how you are doing now (Hint: you also did this in Capcom). That being said, I think Syry looked reminiscent of popcorn.

I usually ignore you when I'm scum until you look mislynchable; then I see if I can mislynch you before you look town, and if you look town, I back off. This is also a way that I approach you as town in plenty of games.

But if you're looking at what I'm doing and nothing more, you'll never read me. You have to look at how I'm pushing and reading and playing.

I'm getting a scum vibe from Oil Tycoons.

Ask Mala if she thinks this is the fight you want to pick. You are literally getting pissy because I didn't count a "I will post later" as an actual game post.

povoking the drunk tire angry bull is not a good idea nottty. im getting pissy cus you are dismissing mala post as she has not posted.

your statement was: mala has not posted yet. she has though, if you said "she has not made a game releavnt post" i would understand.

but no, you dont get to pot shot her like that

I don't get why this matters.

In post 421, Kuroko Network wrote:You continue to obfuscate by pursuing a line of questioning that eventually provide little of value to the overall gamestate.

You have yet to consider the posts of players in a holistic manner and deduce their alignment.

You fail to provide reads on more players despite your self-proclaimed genius at catching scum in the early game.

In short, you're not scumhunting. Ergo, you're scum.

Probably town. I got a scum vibe from Wisdom for using strawman arguments in answering Wall of Fire's posts, so I'll bite. VOTE: Wisdom.

Some other thoughts/reads w/o quoting people.

Tammy - I'm thinking town but I dislike her defensiveness.
Luna Fox - thus far town leaning in my eyes.

Though I am curious, point out this strawmanning Wisdom has been pulling? Why is Kuroko town?

Furthermore, what is your actual read on Fluff? I see much waffling. I dislike waffling.
