CB: You have to admit that Dwlee has a point, right? If this were a set up with a power like the one Chamber is claiming then you would expect there to be more town abilities that targeted other players.
Like: if there were another investigatory role or a fruit vendor or some shit, then the ability would not turn into a kill-a-day machine.

Please tell me more about how weak doc + bomb + doppelganger + mislyncher isn't an overly weak assortment of town roles, even if scum were three goons (and this is maybe wifom-y but I'd bet anything against it being three goons)

It makes sense if doppelganger is the vig-and-replace kind (you know, so the bomb actually has some kind of purpose) and/or there was some other investigative role that is going unclaimed.

Can you make a case for town not being too strong if there were a FI (or whatever it is since there is still no full claim from chamber and you seem gleefully aware of that fact) without there being some town role that could set off the FI by mistake?

What purpose does the bomb serve without a vig and what purpose does the FI serve without a fruit vendor or some other kind of shenanigans?
Why are you more willing to accept those hanging threads?

1. We don't know what scum power there is

2. If you're going to argue the mod defined a role differently than he did in another setup he designed, you are never ever going to convince me of that

3. It's very far from guaranteed that a forensic investigator even lives to day 3 in this setup and that's likely the primary balancing factor

4. If someone were targeted by the weak doc and subsequently killed, the weak doc would show up on the forensic investigator report, so that's one potential false positive (albeit an unlikely one)

5. as far as I'm aware the primary purpose of a bomb isn't to kill town vigs

I guess if that means FI is more likely than I believe Chamber's claim. Catboi is my #1 town read. We can still no lynch though. That might give the potential investigative role more time to get results. Scum will most likely be forced to kill chamber but there is still the other investigative that can get results.

I didn't reach the conclusion based on his in thread play. It would make more sense to ask lld or UT.

Yeah, I know you didn't but that's not the point - if you have a guilty you should be able to write a case without claiming (even though it's lylo and claiming is optimal anyway).
I'd argue it but I'm of the mind to just no lynch and let scum sort it out and make it easier.
