Also, dwlee didn't need to follow me yesterday and lynch NotVarsoon - I think he easily could have voted chamber and no one would have blinked. I think as scum he'd realize his chances of winning were far greater there than if he had to explain being alive another day

and BBmolla I don't really like wallposts either, but have no idea how to convey my views here otherwise - my scumreads are based on a progression of reads, that's spread out over time and multiple posts. It's a pattern of behavior that's not obvious at first glance but emerges over a longer look. I can't just toss off one line and go "this here is a scumtell because xx" because it's not that simple. If I could distill it more, I would, but I think there's a clear pattern here flipped scum and certain living players both attacked each other persistently but never made a truly significant effort to get the other lynched. That's textbook scum play. But again it's not so obvious I can make it seem simple and appealing. The fact that both of them just want to handwave it away is telling, really.

The best player I know said the way to reread games is to look for the progression of people's reads, so that's what I did.

Anyway BBmolla I'm sorry I swore at you and called you names and questioned your effort level earlier. I crossed a line and I shouldn't have done that. My own rule for myself in games is to try to be chill and not swear at people or personally attack them, and I broke that. There's no excuse for that. I apologize for lashing out with my frustrations.


The reason I got upset is because I think there's a basic agreement of respect when people agree to play this game, that they will read and acknowledge the posts made by others. It's part of the fundamental level of playing this game that you let people know you saw what they said. Otherwise the game becomes impossible as there is essentially no communication, just shouting into the void. If a person chooses not to read things they're essentially marginalizing another player's ability to play the game. I did not feel I was getting that respect from you. I feel like made a lot of posts with very good points and you did not respond to them at all, even to say you disagreed. That's why I attacked you. Again though, I have no excuse for doing that and I realize it was unacceptable. I should have explained this to you instead of doing that. Anyway, I hope you understand the cause of my anger here and take it into consideration. It's not that hard to respond to people and let them know you're paying attention.

I mean the absolute worst thing for me on EM was when a player who was cleared would just sit there and not talk, then just vote seemingly at random without addressing anything people had said to them. Players like that were just unbearably aggravating to me. I don't want that here.
