Is Reno really that good? Feels like it would be hard to trigger in a serious deck.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
It depends on the deck. You don't have to give up any copies of legendaries, and a bunch of classes actually do have a reasonable amount of redundancy outside of legendaries.

Reno is like...meant for freeze mage. Seriously run it in freeze mage. Thats it.
Doesn't freeze mage rely on having lots of duplicates? Or are you saving Reno for when you've drawn out your deck late game?

So I'm getting back into HS while I try and find a Magic deck that I really want to play (that's not an EDH deck). Playing Tempo Mage atm. Any specific tech for the balls-out aggro matcjhups? I'm finding them a bit tough.

Flamewaker should already be really good against fast aggro, since most of their stuff dies to pings. I've seen some mages running Arcane Explosion as a 1-of, but I don't know if that's actually good.

I run basically a carbon copy of what Hotform created & posted a couple of months ago. Mulligan for Mad Scientist & Flamewaker, and cheap removal. Use your spell synergy to consistently wipe board and maintain control. Don't hesitate to use Fireball to remove dudes. At 6 mana, Fireball w/Flamewaker on the board probably turns that Highmane into a 2/2.
How'd you know which one to play before spinning? Is there an option to only spin against Control decks?

I am trying to do so and reno is good in freeze mage, you are right, but it is certainly not as good in freeze mage as it is in warrior (since in freeze mage there are a lot of must-have 2-ofs) ... basically half the players are playing with reno-ctrl warrior or reno-fatigue warrior (or a hybrid between two of those) and these mathcups are auto-lose (especially because of reno and justicar), I might as well instaconcede when I see warrior.
I know I'm that only guy still getting hype about original set cards, but I pulled an Ice Block from my brawl pack and I'm hype. Only need 1 more ice block before crafting the rest of that deck is semi viable.
Freeze Mage does seem like a lot of fun, but I don't have Archmage, and he seems critical.

I got Archmage from a pack like a month ago.
I feel like I still need alex technically, but its ok I guess.
As it is I prefer playing my current casinomage.
I have 3600+ dust and no direction of what to do. Which purples and oranges should I be looking for. I already have Boom and a BGM. I feel like I'm at the point where I need to pick a class/deck arch type and focus on that but i'm not sure how long it's gonna take me to expand into another class if I go ham and fill out one class with their major cards.
