Town vibes from ika, Ranger, Hinduragi.

For both Persival and tn5421, I would need to review past games to remember if I've seen them as scum, and how this compares. I remember I had trouble reading both of them in the past.

TBH on Jeanne, I'm not certain if she's still making newb mistakes or if the resemblance to her scum game is real. It's a good enough working hypothesis for now.

I generally like to avoid giving reasons for the longest amount of time humanly possible.
It's a lousy answer, I know, but in my experience, it doesn't hinder the effectiveness of my play.

So just because I was scum in previous games means I am scum? Well, alignments can change. And I can prove that I am town during the night, just instruct me what to do.

Like, ika is 100% sure I am scum. The only scenario in which someone could be 100 % sure that someone is scum is if they're that person's scumbuddy. The only logical conclusion to reach here is that both ika and I are scumbuddies. Two scum are offered to you on a silver plate, so lynch us. I don't mind getting lynched. I always die before day 2 anyway.

How exactly can you do that?

I believe I picked up on your early soft and I didn't have a problem with it. But, demonstrating it in no way proves that you're town. Scum could just as well have picked it.

So...why are you claiming you can prove that you're town?

You've been talking about this since page 1. Do you just want us to run you up to L-1 so you can claim already?

Just because you have a cool power doesn't make you town, anyway. There's nothing anyone can do to

prove

they're town short of flipping, so unless you're a vig and you're going to shoot yourself you can't prove you're town at night.

I took this to be a soft claim of neighborizer. It fits with what she said - I've also thought it would be a cool role, it would likely be available at her position, and it's demonstrable tonight. But, scum have good reason to choose it too. People in the neighborhood are likely to develop some amount of trust with each other, and that would be beneficial to a scum. Further, if taken by town, it's not nearly as dangerous as other roles (in fact it can be negative utility, particularly if a scum is neighborized), so it's not putting a target on the claimant's back, and so it's easy to explain not being the NK.

If you have a powerful town role, you've put a NK target on your back. If you're town and have a lesser role, you're lying by hinting that it's more powerful than it is. Either way you've hurt town by bringing it up.
