I finally got enough dust/cards to run a version of freeze mage. Either my budget choices are terrible or I'm god awful with this deck.

Mad Scientist is pretty necessary, imo. Getting an ice barrier or ice block for 2 mana, along with the trade, is very strong anti-aggro tech.

And yeah Thaurissan

I mean, I know the cards I substituted. I don't have any adventure cards or I'd be running them, that includes Thaurissan and mad scientist.

I thought the whole point of Freeze Mage was abusing Thaurissan to get cheap spells for Antonidas.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Spoiler: List I've been running
1x Zombie Chow

2x ShieldBot
1x Haunted Creeper
1x Ironbeak
2x Juggler
1x Equality

2x Muster the dudes
1x Follow the rules

2x Piloted Shredder
2x Keeper of uldaman (I mean seriously blizzard?)
1x Truevalue Champion (sadly not as value as it used to be)
2x Consecration
1x Blessing of Kings

1x Loatheb
1x Dragon Escort
2x Anti Kill Bot
1x Harrison Jones

1x Volcanic Drake
1x Sylvanas (because fuck you, insert op on-curve legendaries from this point down)

1x Dr.Boom

1x Dr. Tirion
1x Lay on Hands

1x Dr. Ysera, M.D. PhD

This could probably be optimized. Im the only person running any of those dragons in any deck like this right now. So far its been pretty good though. The strategy is simple enough. Hard mulligan for Zombie Chow and Shieldbots. The ideal T1->T3 is Chow, Shieldbot/spiders, Muster. Then after that there are a lot more options available once you hit turn 4 and the ones you want to play depend on the matchup.

Keeping Creeper is fine, and keeping 2 2-drops is fine if you are going second. Play for the board as much as possible. Don't over-extend against super clear decks like Warrior and Freeze, but no one is playing that shit anyways.

I pulled out 2 wins against Renolocks last night after they healed for over 20 with a reno drop, so the deck definitely has enough meat to push through to late game.

Some people only run 1 keeper of uldaman but basically I see KoU as a more versatile (and therefore better) version of BGH. Run that shit. Don't not run that shit. Truesilver is sadly only really necessary to have one of. All the things it was strong against are a bit less common since minions are now stickier or dispersed in their value. Also its not that great against face decks which there are plenty of floating around.

I'd consider adding a second peacekeeper and zombie chow. PEacekeeper is just really good overall, and there is a lot of aggro out there so Zombie chow is kind of worth it. Especially when you have a good closing line up in Sylvanas->Boom->Tirion->Ysera

I'd do a 2nd zombie chow to shut down how common Shaman Aggro is going to be for a while.

Also fuck Dr. 7. Fuck him so fucking hard. Even my non-gamer BF knows who Dr. 7 is because every time I see him I flip a fucking shit that that card was ever made.

Dr. 7 is actually just my least favorite design choice any game has ever made that isn't DotA, because fuck Techies, Invoker, and Anti-Mage.

I think you mean techies is the best hero ever made.

Im always reluctant to run 2 chow since they aren't good against control. Id be more inclined to make room for a belcher I think. Also, I only have one gold chow :p

Techies is the only character you can pick in any game that plays against both teams' wincons.

I wouldn't run Belcher - Aggro Shammy has way too many ways around it (Earth Shock, they have you in burn range anyway and laugh), and that and Aggro Druid are the two you should be building around. Too bad you can't run a third Anti Kill Bot.

My suggestion was basically that I think Rag is a tech card against a meta that doesnt exist right now and I think drake is very out of place. I would love some more defensive minions in those slots. Belcher would be ideal for the drake slot, but belcher is also naxx. I would think two chow would be nice in the list instead of those cards normally, except for freeze mage that really runs counter to your win condition. Maybe something like deathlord?

Is Kel'Thuzad actually played anywhere anymore?
