Assuming Ank as a possibility means assuming you and Davsto as a possibility. It means he has a secondary ability that he can only use instead of killing. But Ank is even less likely to be scum, because rather than target Nacho last night, he could have killed me and gotten the same result.

I also now think farside would have taken a shot at Ank, knowing you roughly trusted her and Davsto and I were essentially locked on Nacho.

Nacho logically makes the most sense.

I'm assuming anka because he's a scum read and his choice makes no sense, delayed or otherwise

1. Hiplop can immediately conftown or confscum someone during the night when there is a kill.
2. Davsto can immediately conftown or confscum someone during the night when there is a kill.
3. For me to catch scum last night, I need to be able to convince the remaining town in LyLo that I'm town.
4. The remaining option for now to use my ability is to try to conftown myself with it as it's the only sureway to make my watch a threat.

There's too many oddball variables in play. We don't need to directly catch scum, we just need to confirm enough town to PoE them out

No lynching until we force scum to kill = autowin.

Mislynching me first means that scum needs to get caught by two separate players in order to win LyLo via a result.

This is impossible if you lynch me first, FWIW.

And if you lynch me now, I'd probably recommend an Ank or hiplop lynch tomorrow although I'm not even vaguely confident in that call.

Or they could just never kill and we get stuck in a tedious cycle of not lynching which drains any investment anyone had in the game as well as any feeling of fun.

Accelerated nights can alleviate that, but you're right the risk of apathy exists.

That doesn't seem a particularly strong reason for throwing away a win, though.

It's not really throwing away a win, throwing away a win would be not lynching scum when we had the chance. Such as not lynching you. Farside, get out of your little Anka hole and hammer Nacho, please.

If we nolynch, then either scum will keep nokilling, leaving us in a useless cycle, or scum will kill (probably me), leaving us with no idea who I confirmed town, and one town down, without having made any lynches. This seems like a terrible idea.

You claim who you target before you lynch, and any actions with a successful kill confirms everyone who actioned as town. It doesn't matter if we lose one town; we have two mislynches if we go from 6 to 4 or 5 to 3.

It seems like you're pushing the way that you're pushing because you want the game to be simple and end with my lynch, but it won't. And if you don't make the proper play, you're going to end up in a pretty terrible situation you never had to be in.

But can't we do that while following through with normal lynches as well? Sounds like a much better plan.

PEdit: Stop trying to scare me, if the game doesn't end with your lynch then it's no better than constantly nolynching until I die and then you getting lynched at some point during that as would inevitably happen.
