I think the best thing to do right now is to vet LLD's claim, prevent her from backing out when/if it doesn't pan out, or give her opportunities to recant.

If she doesn't recant, we are lynching from the 5 on Starbuck's wagon, because presuming 3 scum it's 40% chance vs. 14% chance (not counting self-modifiers and giving Starbuck benefit of the doubt -- that still only makes it 40% vs. 20% in the most extreme case).

All things being as I expect them to be, I think that you are the most likely scum right now, because I think that if I were in your position and were enjoying a 50% scum-finding rate (2 out of 4 excepting you), I would be all the fuck over that instead of whatever it is you're doing right now.

This seems like a town reaction to LLD's claim, especially the last paragraph.

To be clear, I was expressing my opinion that Starbuck's wagon is disgusting and the way it grew was bad in a very very trolly way, because I'm getting fun results and polarizing reads from it, which is nice.

I'm not trying to use her as a shield. Don't put words in my mouth. I think it would be really shitty of you guys, for those who are town with me, to put us in danger of losing two townies. "Using her as a shield" is a phrase that sounds all nice in rhetoric, but I don't think it's at all an inaccurate description for your response to people suspecting you. It makes zero sense for Syryana to fake being able to save mollie; if he's lying, he gets you and mollie lynched, yes, then they get a nightkill, but he gets lynched tomorrow and we don't lose a mislynch. There is not a person in the game who won't lynch him if mollie dies when you do.

I didn't say you suspected him, although if I don't think that statement is "blatantly untrue". I said that because:

This isn't the town Spiffeh that I've seen in the past however many games.

I do feel that Spiffeh is really fucking weird this game with how much he's calling for my death. I've played quite a bit with Spiffeh over the past month or so of being back. In other situations, I felt like I could talk with him and have a conversation. Here it's just straight out abrasive (in a game sense) with no chance of him even reconsidering his stance.

I don't understand why you're acting like I'm doing some terrible horrible thing by so much as calling you scum. I don't like how you're shutting me out because my reasoning is terrible and acting like what I'm saying is lies and heresy even when it very clearly isn't. I'm having trouble following a train of thought where you believe Syryana is lying about being able to save mollie and somehow this is an obvious place where scum lie?

I don't think my approach here is ridiculous or unreasonable and if you're town, your view of your own play this game is skewed in an incomprehensible way. I don't understand or come close to understanding your Spiffeh versus Syryana reads, I hate the way you automatically remind everyone that you're a lover whenever someone talks about lynching you, and I hate your response to this push. I don't think you are town.

but when your top scum read claims confirmable information, it's usually polite to at least consider the possibility he is telling the truth/determine what he has to gain from lying
