So once again, the most recent patch has caused my HS client to load and stay completely black-screen. And once again, uninstalling and reinstalling dos not help.

I think its relatively inexpensive. It doesnt need any class legendaries at least. Voljin is good but not required.

If you plan on playing hearthstone at all competitively you need to craft boom. Just get it over with.

That requires having enough dust.

Also I could just play aggro forever.

Not really. Playing an all aggro lineup is really really bad in conquest format.

Running 3 of the same deck type in conquest is actually good if you expect 1 deck of each opponent to have a weakness to that deck type.

"Overloading your checks" is a kind of cool concept.

it also makes you weak to lineups designed to counter aggro, which are very common.

Yeah, that's true.

Basically, it's good if you expect the most common deck to be weak to Aggro. If most people are running 3 decks that have strong match ups vs. aggro, it becomes bad.

I'd rather go the other way- I'd be more willing to bank on conquest opponents having decks weak to a 3-control lineup than to a 3-aggro lineup.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

No, and I have never heard of this conquest mode. Where is it in the client? I'm also not sure how i would even go about joining a tournament.

Conquest is the format that was used the past year for tournaments.

Each player brings three decks and the first person to get a win with each of their decks wins the match. It's not native to the client or anything, its just the way hearthstone tournaments do matches.

The other one used is called "last hero standing" which goes until someone defeats all of their opponents decks. I like it better but its less used.

With "Last Hero Standing," you have to bring decks to cover your weaknesses. With Conquest, it favors trying to overload a single one of their decks.

Or best of n with a new deck each time from both players.
