They are correct!

The Earthworm turns to face the Mouse slowly. For so long he had been trying to suppress his animal urges, lest his identity be discovered, but it was all for naught. The Barbarian had been found. A man of simple morals and means the Barbarian may have been, but he was smart enough to know when to accept his fate. He snorts. He was going to die for being a Barbarian. He might as well die a Barbarian's death.

With a savage howl, the man charges the Mouse. The Eagle and Sheep step in to block his path, but he swats them aside, one in each hand, like flies. The Mouse's eyes widen right before they're swept off their feet, and thrown across the hall. The Shadow Dragon cannot get out of the way in time, and collapses to the marble floor beneath the Mouse's weight. Bruised and bloodied, the Mouse slowly picks themselves off the floor, only to turn around and find the Barbarian bulletting again. This time it's the Kitty Cat who grabs the Earthworm from behind, and wraps an arm around his meaty neck. The Barbarian arches his back to throw the Kitty Cat off, but as he does so, the Raven, Rat, and Fox grab his arms and aid the Kitty Cat in finally bringing the enormous frame down. The Barbarian roars as the crowd coalesces around him. The Phoenix rips off the Earthworm's mask, and offers it to the Mouse, who accepts it gladly. The Mouse brings the mask of the Earthworm down hard on the Barbarian's nose. Blood flies, and more blood flies, as the Mouse repeatedly slams the splintering facepiece into the face of the screaming Barbarian. Eventually the Barbarian stops struggling. The Mouse finally drops the remnants of the mask, and reclines on their elbows, panting. The other eight follow suit.

The Earthworm has been revealed as the Barbarian!

The Dinner

Sweatied and bruised from the melee with the Earthworm, the nine living suitors readily gulp down pitchers of water as soon as the dinner arrives, but are all understandably more hesitant when it comes to the meal itself. The sight of the disfigured corpse of the Barbarian did not whet any appetites either. But food was sustenance, and sustenance was energy, and energy was a must for anyone who wanted to be competitive in the upcoming challenges. So one by one, the nine began to eat. And one by one, they dropped their utensils, and reclined in their seats, satiated and alive. No one was poisoned.
