This, btw, was the reason why I asked people what they drew last time.

Because, critically, I wanted to know what alignment they were predisposed to choosing.

The answer I got was: davesaz wanted to be the strongest, so nothing from him; Persivul wanted a challenge, so anti-town; Frozen Angel and Smithereens wanted town, thus, town; Blackstar and lane chose town, so, town; scum in {Persivul, RadiantCowbells, Almost50, Jackal711, unclaimed slots like Starbuck}. Yours in them.

nah it's a redirector. I tried to vig Persival because I thought he was scum, but someone else died. I figure I shot the werewolf seeing as they probably wouldn't shoot themselves.

Blackstart your analysis is off since Wednesday was a solo scum and no scum would actually have known her affiliation.

Alright. I never played a game with a survivor before so I didn't know if they had partners or not.

Persivul wrote:I think that's because Jackal is basically a policy lynch, so his flip won't really say anything.
This is also why Persivul is scum with Jackal.

I made it
VERY CLEAR
that Jackal was not being lynched for lurking.
Jackal was being lynched for acting like scum.
That statement still stands.

This is the same Jackal as Murder on Madness Mountain.
Persivul is acting towards Jackal similarly to how Rob treated Jackal.

They are scum together.

I have to interrupt my series of posts analyzing everything that happened so far to comment on this:

@Ranger: I personally owe you an apology for not "fully" trusting you yesterday. Yes, I could very much see the link between Starbuck, Jackal and Persivul.

@Persivul: I told you, if Starbuck flips scum YOU are scum for defending them so hard. You also tried your best to relief the pressure off Jackal, and now he's very much a suspect bc of you.

However, I don't see how we have 3 WWs and no WW nightkill. THIS bugs me. I will thus hold back for a few more hours to do some more thinking based on the night action & flips.

@Almost50 I don't buy that at all. Townies should defend their convictions with as much effort as they can since they know their own reads can be trusted to be in line with the goals of the town affiliation. Persivul trying to relieve pressure off Jackal with the stated intention of destabalising a scum counter wagon is inherently protown.

Let's just say Wednesday was an inevitable lynch. She displayed behaviours that we nail where we see them. As it happens, she was also survivor so we learn absolutely nothing from her flip.

Imo, the Wednesday wagon needs to die. Scum thought Wednesday was town, the people who pushed her for betraying inside knowledge on ranger were incorrect objectively so if most of the scum team weren't on the Wednesday wagon then Ima monkey's uncle.

Blackstar wrote:So Ranger, the other day it seemed like you and Wednesday had each other's backs. Would you care to explain the reason behind that?
Survivor is a role with no allies. It's not a scum role. Wednesday, as shown by the clear "screw you" attitude at the end, was not playing like scum; Wednesday was playing like town.

And a player playing like town...gets townread by me. Basically, what Almost50 said in . Wednesday was an ally of the town.

And you really had to claim outright??

Lady you were already being read town by both Ranger and FA, nobody was going to vote you.

Nevermind.. what's done is done. Let's hope there is someone out there who can protect you.

@smithereens Should you have told us that you're the vig? Now you're going to have a target painted on your back for the scum at night.

@almost50 I like the connection you made between Persivul, Starbuck and jackal. Now that we know Starbuck was scum and Persivul was defending him, it is very possible that Persivul is scum too. Then again, there still a chance that he is town and he just did a bad job of reading Starbuck. I want to hear what Persivul has to say about it.

The only reason you're still alive is I'm town. If I were scum, WHICH I AM NOT, you would have been my NK choice.

Yes, you've seen my scum game. But my town game is no different.

That said, I'm willing to believe Ranger is town.

Yes. Thinning the Wednesday wagon. It's my own hunting. In my mind we know that Wednesday did not betray scum info by claiming Ranger is town as the flip shows no scum team. All those who pushed him regardless are suspect. We know that scum being the opportunistic bastards they are would have been a contributing factor so it's safe to assume high scum concentration on this wagon.

Sorry, but I'm not following. If he was acting pro-town, how come you tried to vig him and came out to tell us that??

It's not to alleviate pressure, it's so you know that the reasoning I'm proposing is something you should take seriously. I propose we kill off the wagon from yesterday.

Ignore my scum read on him, I'm criticism the grounds on which you make your claim. Imo you errantly believe that Persivul is scum by affiliation. This reasoning is weak. This reasoning is easily concocted by scum, so this reasoning cannot go unanswered.

The 'answers' which she never gave were only to misguided beliefs that she was a scum buddy to Ranger, which was clearly false. You voted for her after Persival fabricated this case and rode the suspicion without creating anything original yourself. Imo both you and Persival are scum for that.
