I've been experimenting with hobgoblin in warrior too - armorsmith, acolyte and the 1/3 taunt guy all synergize well.
I'll share a list once I actually start climbing; I think the current version has stabilized at rank 10.
For a while I was doing deathrattle hobgoblin priest with haunted creeper and baron rivendare and curator having pleasant interactions; that direction has promise but I didn't get it working yet.

for the first time ever I actually don't mind my matchups vs freeze mage. Turns out a deck with tons of heal in it hard counters freeze.

Is it just me, or does this happen to anyone else.
I'll have like, 3 minions out. My opponent will play 1 minion, then play brawl, and he will win. This happens to me, just about every time my opponent brawls. I have won maybe once or twice while having many more minions to my opponent. Is this normal?

What the hell is going on today? Did Blizzard put in programming to screw over Control Priests or what?
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

I had a really strong start with two buccaneers in my hand going 2nd so I was able to coin both out and get a 3/2 weapon turn 2. Turn 3 I play a Pirate Lord to buff the dudes 1/1. His turn four he pyromancers/equality thinking he would board wipe but all he managed to do is kill the lord and leave me with my two bucs still since their base toughness was already 1.
I poisoned a new blade... he conceeded lol. Amazing start for a paladin that wasn't very aggressive. Turn 4 win!
Looking for love in Alderaan places.

It comes down to draw - both decks are super binary and dependent on what they draw.
That said, I think Aggro Shammy has the better end of the matchup. Wolves are fucking stupid, and it can lose board and just burn more easily.
