How do you differentiate between players whose town game is scummy and scum in this world?

Well honestly, I don't. Most of my misreads are players who were scummy with their posting style but not scum. Heck, that was my first game with PhantomCobalt! He was town, I thought him scum, I lynched him D1. Mostly I learn from experience. I have none for you, for instance, so I don't know if your scummy posting is scum or town. (Admittedly this is true for startfromtheheart too, but my current guess is start and lane are fire-scum, you're town, and Peptobislawl is ice-scum.)

I do have lane experience, though, and I've seen lane as scummy-town. Still think this isn't it.
I've got multiple games' worth of Peptobislawl experience. Scummy town, even. This is very much not looking like the scummy town. Just scum.

I do have pignash experience, too. I misread pignash as scum in our first game together, too. Scummy posting. I'll admit pignash is not nearly as town as PhantomCobalt. Just because I'm defending pignash does not mean I don't want pignash to give content. Heck, if pignash doesn't deliver, then I might just give up and let you lynch him because the read isn't as strong as I'd like.

It's promising for town.

Ranger, you say you thought phantom was town because you agreed with everything he said in your room. That seems less like townreads and more like buddying to me. You wanted Phantom to survive to cover yourself by making him think you're town, but he got lynched. Now you're on backup plan, which is using your previous townread on him to build credibility.

Personally I'd be suspicious of anyone who agrees with everything I say. Everybody lies, after all.
I also find it interesting that flubber, your roommate, is currently voting you. Dous he perhaps agree with my logic?

I am not totally behind the Pignash lynch but am deferring to Titus's judgement in this instance, particularly since I already lost a game to Pignash simply because I interpreted his newbiness and genuineness.

Ranger lynch is OK I guess, but since Ranger is far far more likely to be Ice than Fire mafia I'm not sure if we should lynch her right now.

There should be a more interesting wagon out there.

I can confirm Ranger's summary of it to be accurate except for where they try to insist rvoke was crumbing.

He's nothing past null. Well his more recent "give me things to say" is scummy but before that happened there was nothing to go off of. With a multiball game and recently, the fact that we are seeing scum try to crosskill I wasn't very worried about them making it to lylo
