Maybe, if you tell me why he's scum because he's playing similar to the only game i've played with him, rather was pretty short time since i rep'd out due to one player doing ongoing game discussion in the middle of Day 1. I'm currently working on the assumption that talah, KT and Ank are all scum.

I think Firebringer is probably town, as Plotinus has noted. Talah continues to be just completely off my radar. Nothing about his wagon has actually sunk in for me at all. I don't think it's bad, I don't think it's good, it's just flat-out boring to me. I think I thought he did townish things but I will get around to remembering what they are and whether they matter later. Ankamius is town, too, by the way.

So from these: I'm going to say the Ktthecreeper/Firebringer wagon is all town. hiplop is obvtown, too.
Ankamius is obvscum, as is Ktthecreeper/Firebringer. So with talah as town, that leaves a pool of {Mad King Ashnard, Antihero, Sakura Hana, Expedience} for the third. I'll see if I can look into it for which of them it is. Definitely something to look at.

The most compelling evidence against Scatterplot is Ether's very minimal participation over a span of two days. I've played with Ether twice before and followed another game of her's, and I can say with ninety-nine percent confidence this is not her town game. I'm not talking about the number of posts, I'm talking about the total lack of impact in any of her posts, or a drive to scumhunt and move the game forward.

The typical reasons for that are a) game moving too fast to keep up and b) Ether falling behind. But I'm sure it is not a) because I know that she's not too busy to post prolifically in site chat over the past few days (Ether as town would never neglect a game if she had the time), and it is not b) because when town, Ether is heavily involved in games regardless of game speed or whether she's behind. See her ISO Mutant Mafia where she replaced in to over twenty odd pages. She immediately puts down content while catching up at her own pace. She engages people, talks to whoever is online, and asks them questions in real time (her preferred method of scumhunting). The entire ISO in that game was made over the span of a day and a half after which she was killed by scum.

Here within a similar time frame, she has barely made any waves at all. She posts thoughts now and then and claims to be catching up but there is huge chunk of what makes Ether Ether missing from her posts: catching people when they are online, asking about their reads, having conversations. Instead she makes vague, passing comments like "I don't know anything about the Talah wagon" or "Expedience's meta on Phantom is valid." That's far too much of a hands-off approach for a town-Ether.

Ether hates being scum partly because she hates lying, and partly because she doesn't have the stamina to keep contriving analysis. Read through the lylo of Newbie 1656 to see Ether describe her scumgame in abundant detail. That'll also give you an idea of how passionate and obvtown Ether is when she's actually town.

Plotinus's posting has been null to leaning scum. Some things that stood out:

1. Post 166 - Buddying Ranger by posting reasons for Ranger's reads. It is typical for Ranger to post naked reads lists early in the game that no one takes seriously. Taking them seriously and supplying reasons reeks of trying to manipulate Ranger. If they genuinely wanted to engage Ranger, I think they could have easily posted their own reads or hashed out disagreements. This seems more like an attempt to impress Ranger with how well they understand her.

2. Post 476 - Readslist here is very predictable as in if I were scum in their place, that's exactly the type of readslist I'd produce. Return townreads on Wisdom and Ranger after they both townread Scatterplot. Scumreads on Expedience (who voted Scatterplot), KTthecreeper, and Talah (both of whom are easy lynches). Plotinus themselves admit in a mafia private topic that one of their strategies is to lynch people who catch them (especially when they catch multiple members of the team). It's not a bad one. Nightkilling them means leaving a target on Plotinus's back. Why not mislynch them when Plotinus is much more "charismatic" and can weave words together a whole lot better than the people who caught them?

Now let's look at Ether's actual posting:

1. Post 236 - Calling Wisdom helpful for diffusing their argument with Mad King Ashnard. If Ether was concerned about Ashnard being mafia, it's better to engage them rather than diffuse the argument. This makes more sense if Ether is mafia and was happy that Wisdom was reading Scatterplot vs Ashnard as TvT.

2. Post 230 - Hedging on Talah without ever taking a solid stance or attempting to question him and figure him out.

Bottomline: Almost everything that Ether has posted is passing commentary with zero pro-active engagement with the game. Nearly every single time she engages another player is a response to the other player engaging her. This is not town-Ether.

Solid townreads on Antihero and Hiplop. Sakura Hana is probably town for her early posting. I also fully agree with her take on KTthecreeper's replace out and I'm actually very surprised that anyone considered his replace-out alignment indicative. Ranger is also probably town, partly because her reads make sense even when I disagree with them. This will be a stronger read if Scatterplot is mafia like I think they are because Scatterplot seems to be making an effort to get Ranger to townread them.

@Wisdom -

1. What is your read on Ether independent of Plotinus. I expected some amount of effort spent there as she's the easier to read head. You played with her in a Micro (it was a Chosen Mafia setup, she was in a hydra with Yosarian2) so I think you of all people should have been concerned by now. 2. I need at least some elaboration on your Sakura Hana scumread because I'm not seeing it.

I'll need to re-read ISOs and talk about Expedience, Trebuchet MS, Mad King Ashnard, Ankamius, Firebringer, and PhantomCobalt in a bit. Wisdom is a null read as well, potentially scum if Scatterplot is scum.

Indeed I do. Talah is flailing under pressure. All of his reads are OMGUS trash and most of his defense has consisted of firing back questions and casting doubt at his accusers. On the other hand, the replacing out makes me think most of the frustration was probably genuine. I don't have problems with 15.
Ktthecreeper's posts on page 22 and 23 looked super fake, like he was trying to appear town but had no idea what he was doing (e.g. 546). I don't think he replaced out strategically. 560 and 569 are scummy. He could be just a VI though so let's hear from Firebringer. Appeal to emotion for me.
