To look more town. He already committed himself to townreading me hard with that "townslip" he found, where I didn't know the name of the scum group.

So he figures that his best option is to polarize himself, make a huge read list.

Best case scenario, it gets him out of being lynched.

Worst case scenario, it looks bad as connections for someone later on. I.E: Me

My best guess is that they thought it might gain my favour and I mgith save them, or that it might protect them.

Well, if Nether is scum, it's feasable he used to townslip to try and gain town cred, then needed to put one of his scum buddies in the town slot, but chose to put all those town reads below me, to mask connections between them.

If you're scum, it's possible he just wanted to distance as far from you as possible. It would make a lot of sense.

I'm not scum, and I can't think of any reason why scum would try to find a "townslip" on their buddy.

Like, that's asking to be connected and lynched, isn't it?
