For the most part, yes. However, I can also easily write these reasons off as newbtown for the most part, which is why I'm not convinced quite yet. He does seem to be getting more antsy as the pressure increases though, which, at 4(?) votes is not really justified. Again though, might just be panicky newbtown.

It's a feeling which may be difficult to quantify, but still a strong one. He sounds completely different here to how he sounded in the other game.

I don't like this. In Mini 1747, which is the game I assume you're referring to as it's his only scum game that I could find, he had this to say:

The rest of Soapbar's play in that game felt rather stiff (see the very next post in his 1747 ISO!), but here he's engaging in conversation in a way that feels markedly more fluid.

And there's still a gut-ish aspect of how I'm reading Soapbar as confirmed town-aligned which I haven't adequately expressed, so it's not like that's the only reason.

Is there something wrong here, though? Do you think either Soapbar or I are scum-aligned?

A vast majority of the players don't think things through while here every action gets criticized. People think things out here. Set up spec is unknown so fake claims become viable here and scum can always claim vanilla town and no one will question it because it's a legit possibility that all that are left is vanilla. In town of salem you can just all claim roles day 1 and lynch the people that conflict have conflicting roles you can break it in 100s of way as town. Tbh the reason town doesn't win so much is the amount of stupidity on there.

can confirm, played SC2 Mafia for a while, the literal only thing required to win as town was a Veteran (PGO equivelent) who was willing to claim (or crumb it just blatantly enough) Marshall or Mayor day 1 and then watch as both idiot town and mafia line up to die horribly. think you could also do the same thing as a Mass Murderer too and win.

Thoughts on the people on the Lapsa wagon:
Garmr voted him for RVS, I did it to demonstrate an example to KT at the time, RC hopped on that wagon, Kat addressed me in 73 and voted Lapsa.

None had any good reason but the latter two's actions were most questionable.

Unfortunately based on my game with Lapsa when we were both town, and based on Lapsa's meta - he carries an early-game playstyle that looks quite...mysterious to say the least. I find his alignment becomes clearer down the road, however - based on what he does and what he doesn't do.
