Anyone in the alpha already? Anyone wanna join?
I got early alpha access a while ago but couldn't really talk about it because NDA. Now that they've opened up more about it, I have 3 alpha keys to give away if anyone is interested. First come, first served, post here and I'll PM you.
(EDIT: JK, two alpha keys, I promised one to someone else already.)-

Kotaku has compared it (rather favorably) to a cross between DOTA and XCOM.-

Looks like it has a lot of potential. I always get leery of simultaneous turn games though, because it's a good concept but very often the aspect of just guessing where they'll be ends up crowding out the rest of the strategy space.
Have you gotten to play a fair bit of it, Glork? How often do you have games where the other player would have won if they had done everything the same, but correctly guessed where their enemy would go?"Don’t buy a dozen eggs if you just want a hardboiled egg. Don’t buy a head of lettuce if you just want a salad. Don’t buy eggs and lettuce if you want egg salad because those are not the right ingredients." -Julius Bloop-

Great game, planning to buy soon. I played the free beta - I tried out all the freelancers but I'll probably end up maining Oz because Oz is the best oneThere's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

Su-Ren isn't overpowered anymore hooray
My list of season 1 top picks:
Firepower:
Lockwood - slippery, anti-dash, ridiculous damage AoE, can shoot around corners
Grey - VISION, longest dash in game, really good ultimate, can outtrade with tranq darts, provides consistent map pressure
PuP - Incredible damage, short cooldown dash, invisibility and might chains into ultimate, can pull people into team, incredible ultimate, solo queue destroyer
Frontline:
Rask by far. Knockback, borked healing rate, ultimate resets cooldown, nice wide swing(to catch elle dashes and the like)
Support:
Su-ren - still strong after the nerfs. Haven't played her much but 100 damage shield with retaliation is god
Finn - the single best ultimate in the game, along with a strong damage ability that can fuck Nixes or PuPs over, and AoEs on everything. There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

Juno is also a solid pick but I am not convinced she can carry solo queue
Props to them for making a black female character that actually can stand on her own merits rather than just being a sassy caricature or token addThere's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

We were down 2-4 and the enemy team went "gg ez"
and we came back to win 5-4 with our asuna surviving by 2 hp!!!There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

Changed my mind Helios is a viable ban now
I don't like Kaigin, he's so feast or famine-yThere's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.
