In fairness, I don't like to manipulate people emotionally.
I just felt the need to do it this one game.
I will never play the way I did this way again. The only game I've played to be emotionally manipulative to this extent was 184.
It's both too easy and too unpleasant, I think.

Aero, a suggestion: You might want to use a JK instead of a Cop next time. While Cop is usually more powerful, the face that LyLo can be brought forward by one day increases the value of JK.

I'd say now, after playing it again, that there is a problem with the double vote - town having the double vote likely provides little help unless their read is right. Scum having the double vote allows them to win a day early.

The other alternative is that the double vote is changed to a triple vote.

The DV has the right idea, in that scum and town both have incentive to strive for it, but it's too strong in the hands of scum. Perhaps a neighborize? Have each person send in a neighborize target with their guesses and give the neighborhood daytalk, that could be powerful if two mutual townreads get it.
Concerning the quickhammer issue, maybe you could add a 24-hour twilight phase after the hammer to let people get their words in.
