I actually think Kain is probs Town, just kind of new. I don't think scum trying to act aggressive will shout I AM AGGRESSIVE all over the place; it attracts attention more often than not which isn't what scum wants. Kain is clearly new, judging by his join date, and his actions don't make sense as newbie scum.

More people need to post.

You voted Bill&Gomp with actual reasons, so you can't blame me for criticizing you on them. No hiding away by claiming it is an RVS vote because it isn't.

Your reasons are basically that Bill's "attack" on Kain is scummy, and so is his attempt at teaching Kain how to play the game. Regarding the former, I honestly can't see why scum would try to pull that off and attract attention, and the latter, I don't see why teaching newbies is a scumtell?

I don't know about Not_Mafia yet but I'm still very inclined to think BAG is town. Maybe my scumhunting skills are not great, but I don't see what the case is on BAG.

I also don't think we should policy lynch Kain unless we think he's at least slightly scummy which I don't right now. There are only 8 of us and we can't afford to policy lynch.

I want to hear more from lovelygiant.

All I feel so far is that though Maestro looks a bit too... excited for a policy lynch? We have 8 players, so policy lynching is not an option unless you think there is some likeliho that Kain is also scum. Do you think Kain is scum, Maestro?

A quick glance of the posts on this page is giving me second thoughts about Maestro. I'll need to read through again to get a proper gist of the situation. But can we all be kinder to one another please? There is no need to be rude...

Alright, so I believe this Maestro wagon is definitely going too fast with that almost-lynch... We have 2 weeks, right? Even if Maestro is scum, we still should try to get as much information as possible before the lynch. If Maestro is not mafia, focusing too much on him would only allow scum to relax and not feel particularly pressured.

I still feel uncomfortable about Maestro's original obsession with lynching Kain, but his explanation later on made sense to me, even though I don't agree with it (we don't have the numbers to allow for a policy lynch, besides I think Kain should be able to learn how to play the game soon). His anger upon being voted for seems slightly town-like to me because I tend to think town is more likely to feel angry about being lynched than scum, who would feel more scared and jittery. We should be careful of tunneling too much, especially on Day 1.

Kain is being really eccentric, but I still believe he is town.

Sorry for the V/LA. I'm trying my best to get as involved as I can, but my homework and exams were more stressful than I expected. If after this you all still want me to replace out, then I will.

Right now I am more than happy with a Not-Mafia lynch. Seriously? That reaction to pressure by voting immediately on someone who has been relatively inactive for actual RL reasons without any proper reason was just painful to look at.

I didn't have much of a read on xtoxm before, but the fact that he asked for a replacement on me was although not very nice, strikes me as something with more town motivation than scum - to want as much involvement from all players as possible. Whereas on the other hand Not_mafia immediately taking advantage of that puts him on the completely different side of the spectrum. I can't think of anyone who can possibly be scummier than he is.

I will take a quick look at the vote tally in the meantime.

I know but I don't think I should replace unless I absolutely know I can't play this game, because of the amount of stress it will cause a replacement to reread 20+ pages. It will be a different thing if it was early Day 1 so I don't want to put too much problems on them.

Not_Mafia, the fact is not whether you NOW realize there is no traction on voting me, but the fact that you clearly THOUGHT back then that there will be traction, which is not uncommon as far as I know for scum. Voting for someone relatively inactive means that you won't further antagonize someone who's already active and who might push you further, while at the same time hopefully putting through with the "inactive person is scum trying to hide" mindset. I really don't like that.

So a quick check shows that N_M is at L-1. The fact that he hasn't exploded yet means that he's probably the goon? (If he immediately explodes after this post I am going to get really annoyed)
