I'm happy with the way the game turned out. I was impressed with individual players on both sides, particularly Kagami, BROseidon, hiplop, and Spiffeh. Spiffeh especially did a great job of hanging in there even when it looked like things weren't going his way. In my opinion, it's a well deserved win for him.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to see some of the roles at play here, specifically the Queen of Hearts and Oogie Boogie. I could see itlepip not wanting to accidentally kill a townread or step on another town special, but once it became clear there wasn't a vigilante I think he could've safely played like a doctor. I was also a little taken aback when I saw the scumteam talk about how they planned to use Lost Marbles' role. We gave that role to scum so that they would have a "confirmable" ability.

Thanks to everyone for playing this game. You all picked cute characters and I had a blast making this setup and watching the game unfold. Special thanks to Antihero for being a great co-mod and teaching me a lot about setup design. I had as much fun running this game with him as I usually do playing games in this hydra. Special thanks to Cheetory as well for taking the time to review the setup.

Both town players should learn something from it, and it's very incorrect to blame the other.

I think massive should have spent more time reading the entire thread before making such a critical decision. At the very least, he should have considered the kills a little more, which made very little sense from a FA-scum perspective. It looks to me like too much weight was placed on recent posting, rather than considering the broader picture, which is a backwards way to do it. Scum are going to be pursuing a scum agenda most when they are free of suspicion, not when they're in the spotlight.

I thinking FA should have put far more effect into building a case on Spiffeh rather than emphasizing her own towniness. If massive wasn't viewing her as obvtown at that point, insisting it's the case is obviously not going to go anywhere. There was lots of ammunition available, the most notable of which was even said by me in the hood: Spiff gained by far the most from the Bro kill.

The dead PT's locked, but Kagami: the strategy was in fact "Make Spiffeh live, 'cause we're both gonna die". I mean, I thought Lost Marbles would die first,

then

I would die, not the other way around, but I had predicted both our demises from the get-go and basically told Spiffeh, "dude, play good 'cause if you don't, we lose". This in the pregame, but it was reinforced N1. I wanted BROseidon dead because he was the largest threat; being less likely to be protected was just an added bonus.

He was impatient at endgame, but you probably should have urged patience before anything else, FA.

As someone who's rolled through a town as scum w/ massive before:

He's a fairly average player. You misplayed the last 3 dayphases pretty hard except for the call to NL at MyLo to test massive's ability. Putting the blame on massive for the shortcomings in his play limits your ability to improve as a player.

I think Kagami hit the nail on the head with what massive did wrong. The NK order and how the Itlepip mislynch built in particular were the two biggest things to think about here, and massive just missed them.

It depends on the nature of the ability and its modifiers, generally speaking.
Town could have like, two cops or two roleblockers, but stuff like two docs are VERY questionable (for obvious reason)
Personally, I wouldn't let dual neighborizers walk around, but that might just be confbias.
