Me neither; for me it was still more the quick flip from being hesitant to jumping on Flub.

I don't often do meta on games that I haven't personally played in, but i did so because I felt like there may have been a possibility that meta would help with apri so i skimmed through her newbie game ISO where she was scum.
I think that apri's overall play is more similar to space invaders but this is a really early judgment that i'm making, town for now.

Why me? Esp. since I don't have very many completed games yet.

I'm rereading to get a better picture here. Will post thoughts soon and then I need to sleep.

What was the game that you made that chart in, Flubber?
At least, I'm pretty sure you were town in that one.

I've never made a chart to my memory.

I very rarely partake in setup spec. There usually ends up being too much information that I have to try and keep organized in my mind to really work with it, but I wish to improve that aspect of my game, hence my current strategy.

I'll have to dredge it up but it was awhile ago. I remember you were speculating the different outcomes of different plays and then you ended up scanning some notebook pages where you wrote out different possibilities. I recall being impressed by the effort and townreading you for it.

VOTE: Hellhound

The SirCakes wagon is a shitty counterwagon to Hellhound and I won't stand by it.
I'm going to have to talk to my other head about why he plopped a vote there.

It is possible -- indeed it is far more than probable -- that he was innocent of all participation in the bloody transactions which took place. The Ourang-Outang may have escaped from him. He may have traced it to the chamber; but, under the agitating circumstances which ensued, he could never have recaptured it. It is still at large.

Okay so, this is kind of where I'm at. Will sort into categories later (like tomorrow because it's 1 am)
Hellhound - I didn't realize until reread that there's not actually a whole lot of real content in their posts until the later pages but the overall tone and feel just seems like carefree town in a way that sorta reminds me of RC. I did like quite a bit, specifically the part about Shiro seeming to test the waters before really jumping in. And it's a little weird I guess because I also don't like Cakez very much atm but Hellhound seems to not agree with that because of the vote switch not being compelling enough. I don't think it's a wk of any sort, though. There's no motivation I see that suggests that Hellhound is advocating for town!Cakez, just that he doesn't really see scum!Cakez. Like in . It's like the bad play doesn't always equal scum play thing.
Persivul - I liked the early effort to create wagons; seemed town mindset driven. Don't know how to feel about the vote on Flub since I'm not familiar with whether he usually does that kind of thing. Do like the reaction to Cakez's vote switch. And yeah not much left besides that.
Lane - Should I stop using "carefree-ness" as a thing I ought to like? Or maybe everyone here is so used to playing in general that they wouldn't be any less carefree as scum than they are as town? Sigh. Same sort of thing here, stuff like . As with Persivul, I like the reaction to Cakez. And the frankness in 125-127 but that's probably nai. Only thing I'm not sure about is . I don't see how the interaction between Flub and Cakez really indicates bussing when it could just as easily just be Cakez not wanting to commit to a vote early.
Cakez - Basically the vote switch. I don't like it, but this has been discussed to death already so I won't say more on that.

*yawn* Might just write the rest of this out tomorrow. But Specter I think is town and I don't like what Shiro has said so far and idk about other people.

That was a mistake and has been fixed, this is Mini 1776. The independence Mafia game you're thinking of is Titus' and Drixx's Mini 1774 that somehow ended up two games earlier than planned.

Are you saying all scum are opportunistic?

I'm saying everyone - scum and town - like PRs, so you won't be able to distinguish scum from town by the way the mechanics of this game affect behavior.
You don't think anyone here is going to say "I'm hopping on this wagon because my pr is REALLY IMPORTANT" just to get "roleblocked" the next day?

If you don't think the mechanics of this game are going to change the way people play....why did you join it???

See above. But I'm willing to listen. How will the mechanics of this game make scum play differently from town?

Looking back, he went from not good enough for a vote, to good enough for a vote at this stage of the game. It was worth some pressure, but now you're overplaying it by calling it "incredibly dissonant." I like his explanation in , and his subsequent arguments on you don't feel panicky. It reads like he's really trying to figure out the game.

Was in general pretty active and making serious pushes. Not specifically setup spec, no.
