Wow. I come to check in to see this. I just put in a random date because I have personal stuff going on and that has no end date. But this is extremely demotivating and makes me not give 2 shits about this game.

@utl: my apologies. You put in may 10, I treated it as if you were actually v/la until may 10, in which case you DID need to be replaced (and our mod has not exactly been a regular hot bed of activity so he could have missed it). If that's de motivating well I'm sorry. I chose to treat what you wrote as an honest estimate.

That's a fair point. I guess I should have asked. I figured that if you had an emergency you wouldn't be posting, and I saw the date and presumed that you'd be gone for basically he length or the game, and that our mod very plausibly wouldn't have noticed. Still, you are correct that I acted inappropriately and was inconsiderate to your situation. My sincere apologies.

This kinda sucks. Its my first game ever and like there has been so many peopled prodded and replaced out its really hard to come to any conclusions. I was not expecting this and I am not really sure how a game can be played like this.
This is not addressed at UTL! and I mean this isnt really addressed to anyone because the people who will read this are in the game :/
It just is sucky I think- idk games are not usually like this?
even if Aeronaut is busy he has been posting in other threads like it just suckkss.
also UTL I would really like you to stay in the game- smith shouldn't have said that I don't think. We want you here playing!! when and if you are able to come back I hope you would!

@siw: try signing up for a "normal" game. I'd suggest a mini or micro one as a first step. They're more intensive but are challenging and (IMO) fun.

@utl: I really am sorry and I really do hope you stay. My frustration at the lack of effort from some other people and my sloppiness in reading what you wrote aren't an excuse for my behavior.

I am trying to figure out if there is anything I don't agree with/ see wrong with your posts and I don't believe I ever made a case against you.
I am pretty sure all I have said the situations have confused me.
I have yet to decide on you- your recent posts I like but again I am still working on a read. and I am seeing some issues too...

@siw: one other suggestion: try reading through one of the shorter completed newbie games, WITHOUT peeking at the hidden spoilers of who died on which alignment, and try to guess who is and isn't scum before each day end and flip. It's a fun exercise to see how well you can get in the heads of people. D1 is the hardest, but by d2 or 3 you should have a decent idea who is probably who.
