Why do people play tavern brawl more than they need to? All of them are kinda stupid.

From the league thread I'm aware this is a foreign concept, but there's this idea called "fun".

Yes, they're often silly and unbalanced, but if I wanted a perfectly balanced experience with minimal luck I'd just play Puerto Rico on BGA all day.

Yeah I brawl when I feel like just playing a silly game with no repercussions whatsoever. Tavern Brawls are kind of the ARAM of Hearthstone, and there's nothing wrong with people playing silly formats without taking the game seriously.

Eh I'm not quite good enough at arena to freeroll, so I've avoided it as I save up gold for new set.

I watched AP win his 12 win in arena and the game was hilarious. He was playing paladin and ended up getting a bolster or whatever its called that is +2/+2 to taunt creatures from a spell slinger his opponent played. Seemed useless at the time but late game he top decked a sunfury protector for the win. I was cracking up when I saw him draw that.

Meanwhile I go 0-3 in arena with Priest and Warlock. I just... bleh can't draft these days.

Finally started playing this again after not playing since pre-TGT/LOE(and I don't think Tavern Brawl had started either. At least, I hadn't played one). I had gotten a new phone and forgotten to remove my authenticator and didn't want to deal with removing it. Remembering how much I enjoyed just playing this for small bursts at a time.

It's weird but I almost never see a lotheb against me, but he's in every deck I play.

EDIT: This has happened 3 times now, each time my opponent was Rafaam. And then I got a game as Rafaam and I got eviscerated. I assume this brawl is just horrendously unbalanced?

I don't normally draft Priest, but when I do I get Ysera/ 3 Clerics / 3 shadow pains lol

This deck is actually going to be terrible against anyone that just puts out big creatures. I can board clear small stuff all day though.

Its terrible but when you scarab into a second shadow fiend, play it then circle to draw three cards at two reduced cost.... yeah rng is broken lol
