What's the town motivation for asking someone to claim at l-4 or 5 wisdom?

Jake - I'm not saying I didn't call him SK. I'm saying I didn't call him 100% confirmed SK. There's quite a difference.

Also, VOTE: farmer and we lynch Maestro tomorrow.

In post 1296, Wisdom wrote:You're not looking at his motivation at all. The guy really thought and thinks Maestro is scum, so it's obvious he'd want him to claim. That's the obvious motivation there. Not your farfetched "maybe he would get a claim".

If it's "obvious" for someone town-aligned to want a claim from their scumread, then why has no one else in this game asked for a claim except from someone who was at L-1? It's not town-motivated at all to ask for a claim at L-4. The wagon could easily fizzle out and you'd be left with a better-informed NK.

In post 1298, Wisdom wrote:It's the exact same shit you did with KTS. "No way the guy thought Jake is scum, he joined the wagon because MAYBE it would become the next popular wagon".

You completely disregarded the most obvious explanation that was YES, KTS THOUGHT JAKE IS SCUM in order to push a forced scum agenda for KTS.

And you're doing it all over again.

At the time it didn't seem like a town-aligned KTS really would've switched to thinking Jake was scum at the time (as I believe I pointed out). So of course that explanation should've been disregarded.

The whole issue about the claiming thing is dumb. It's reasonable for a town aligned player to think asking a person to claim early is scummy. It's also reasonable for a town aligned player to not thing it's scummy.

Now in this case we have 2 unknown alignments in this situation. Just cause farmer thinks it's scummy doesn't make him scum which wisdom is implying. Just cause wisdom thinks asking early isn't scummy, doesn't mean somebody who holds a different opinion is (which wisdom is again implying )

Wisdom using this against any player is shit, it's basically a difference of opinion. You want farmer lynched? Do better

Because it's not something that is better for the town all around. I am not saying that it's a thing that comes from town all the time. I am saying that the specific circumstance is town-motivated. You are ignoring it and looking at a generality, because that suits you.

And yeah no. I've already been over how this is bullshit. You cannot disregard the most obvious motivations to push your farfetched bullshit.

kush, read this. Do you find it reasonable that the "KTS could be town scumreading Jake" should be disregarded in favor of a "KTS predicted Jake would be an upcoming wagon so he switched his vote to him"?

And this to justify a wagon hope on KTS?

yes. One of the ways people scumhunt is to ask:
does this player's scumread make sense? does it fit with their personality? does it fit with the evidence?
You try to understand if the scumread is genuine or opportunistic. Farmer thought kts' scumread of jake was opportunistic and said why.

*facepalm*

Yes, kush, you try to understand whether it's genuine or opportunistic. I am not talking about the process. I am talking about the conclusion.

He weighted a town motivation that was completely logical and a scum motivation that was completely farfetched and argued that the scum motivation was more logical. And even now, after KTS has flipped town, he continues to argue that the farfetched one was more logical.

And not only that, he's doing it again with Snarky.

Come on.

snarky why wouldn't a vig shoot someone like him n1?
And why is it so hard to get this answer from you. That statement doesn't explain why, it just says it "doesn't make sense."

I actually have the same thought and post game I'm going to. You promise content and then go on v/la is very suspicious

You have to prove it. You have done jack squat all game. You have no reads at all that are useful, you aren't making any sort of pushes to lynch people and your contributions in this game are completely useless. I don't really care for policy lynches but at this point if your wagon were to get to L-1 id hammer you faster than you hammered kts
